They’re very comparable talents, even though both have different skill sets. I think they have similar careers, too early to tell who will be “better”.

it looked good, scored 2 goals in one game. with michkov they could not get in the offensive zone for 10 games or so. just putrid all around. he won't sniff at the first pp unit for a long time. calder race is over for him.

The guy constantly trashes Michkov in every thread out of desperation. Yeah, the guy leading the rookie scoring race currently while playing 4+ less minutes a night than the 2nd place player, sound, sound logic. Torts will do everything to stop him though, so who knows.

Also, he already has more points (12) than last season's top scorer (Frost, 11). Clearly doesn't fit into the magnificent Flyers' PP.

Wait. The narrative was always that Michkov could only score on the PP. Now he's too slow for that role?

He might as well pack his shit and go home to the KHL. Rotenberg will have no need for him and he'll be loaned to Sochi where he'll only score against Chinese goalies.
