It’s a well known issue among Russian teenage athletes to start living lavish lifestyle instead of focusing on their sports skills and progress, many soccer and hockey prospects were victims of it, I don’t want Michkov to go that route

Jagr's love of expensive foreign cars didn't corrupt him. Boys love shiny things. Just don't do drugs.

Don't have fun with the money you earned kids, some internet posters will judge you!

What has this to do with the Russians? It is the same in all sports where there is money regardless of nationality. Look at the expensive cars and Louis Vuitton bags that the top European youth league football players bring to training.

Odds will flutcuate more the closer to the event because of the large influx of money on the market. It's basic trading. It doesn't mean that anything's changed as far as information, it just means that more money was taken on certain markets. I mean, if there was any type of leak we would've heard about on here by now.

A lot has changed. Don't be shocked to see Michkov go #2 just because the leak didn't get to you

What I mean is it doesn't mean that there is information out there, the odds change the day of because there is more betting activity. The idea as a trader is to profit off the VIG, not actually gamble so if more money comes in, you adjust your lines accordingly. As far as I know, there doesnt seem to be a public leak that could influence bettors.

FWIW, Michkov's odds are soaring on sites like fanduel this afternoon. Currently the 2nd best odds to go #2 overall. Now the favorite at #5 overall.

Not a ton of movement on other sites though, where Slafkovsky jumped massively across just about every platform by this time to a much more significant degree.

If you’re a gambler and still getting Michkov at 20 to 1 somewhere, you’d be foolish not to hammer that

Yup, I remember when I traded the 2019 draft and when it leaked on Twitter that Dach was going 3rd we took 6 digits on the 3rd overal market in 3 minutes. We took a beating.

Anyways, my point is just that we should'nt use fluctuation in prices on gambling as an indicator of who might go where. It's just the trader adjusting his prices to balance out his market and profit off the VIG. If there is any type of leak of who will go there, trust me the market will be taken down in minutes, I've literally been in that position lol

There might be a parade in Montréal if he's drafted by the Canadiens with the excitement from fans.

The hype in the city is real tonight haha.

This draft is also one of the most interesting of all time all because of Michkov.
What can we give you to make you trade 5th to 11th? Or can we kick rocks
