There's been the odd streams here and there but you'll need a Finnish bank account to subscribe now that Telia holds the rights. Or you're one of the lucky ones who knows someone who does.I don't think there's a way watch them even with paying, outside of Finland atm.
Not sure if this is true.
6'1 and 180 pounds. He's not a super large guy, he just has strong legs and great balance. How is he this strong at 17. Whats his measurements

The weight measurement could be from last season, i took it from the official Liiga site. No idea how often they update those stats.Looks like rick nash out there. I thought he was bigger
He is 187cm. So almost 6'2. God, the freedom units are so bad.I think he looks taller than the numbers say. Atleast 6´2?
Yeah, why just not use cm all over the worldHe is 187cm. So almost 6'2. God, the freedom units are so bad.
Nice to see these bigger prospects. I still remember when Granlund, Pulkkinen, Teräväinen were the top prospects from Finland. And 2 of them are great players today, just that they aren't very big.
I've thought that as well multiple times, Armia was kind of the first big skilled player in a while but he's really not playing that game in the NHL.Can't remember how many times I've thought that what if this super skilled kid was just 2-3 inches taller. Kakko doesn't only have the skill and size, but he's almost like a truck out there and already a physical force. I don't think I've ever seen someone that young just KO'ing a grown up like it's nothing, then forcing his way around the net and dishing a perfect saucer. Considering he's still developing all aspects, including strength, it's thrilling to imagine what he'll be like in just 2-3 years.
I'd really love to see him replacing Wirtanen as the center in the first line until Korpikoski comes back. He can't be much worse and I do think he has the strength to battle along the boards and do the heavy lifting. Another scenario is uniting him with Palve, who I think is the superior player compared to Filppula. These two could really tear this league apart.

Can Kakko actually play centre? Or is it just a wish? The way he's playing I don't think there's stopping him, positioning and getting used to it might take him a while.
Okay. I'm not surprised he didn't look out of place. He's the type of player that can play anywhere in the lineup, and any position really (C,W).He played center in an international tournament (I didn't watch it myself) and apparently didn't look out of place at all, or so I've heard anyway. I've seen him take several faceoffs in the league as well, so that's not uncommon to him either. The only way to know for sure is to try I suppose. Doesn't take much to be better than Wirtanen though.
Would be awesome if he does and if other Finnish top C prospects become star players too (Kotkaniemi and Borgström). Finnish national team would be stacked.I think Kakko might play center in the NHL. That is how good he has been all over the ice.
Aho strikes me as a natural C though. Aren't the Canes trying to make him one, now that he has gained enough experience? He is probably in the same boat with Aho. He is smart and skilled enough to fill center duties if he wants to. If we have center problems in the WJC, I can see Kakko filling the role similar to Aho.
