That goal displayed Kakko at his finest. Simple straightish line skating, some basic stick handling and somehow he just gets to tap it in.

Why did it look so easy? Every single stride he took, every single puck handle he did and every little fake he performed were close to perfection.

Impeccable execution of the basic stuff.

I think Kakko didn't look like a below average skater on that goal. But shrug, could be wrong.

Kakko's presence of mind and decision making's really good. This tournament's making me appreciate his hockey IQ even more than before. Like this goal, was a very smart decision.

Kakko performed a fake shot, both the defenseman and the goalie bit, and then he walked past them. He scored an almost identical one in Liiga.
