He's looked a little tired the past two games. The Canada game was his weakest in the tournament. Kupari-Heponiemi-Talvitie played much better and deserved their icetime.
The worst game yet? Agreed (and he wasn't even bad). Tired? No. He plays far more minutes in the league without looking exhaust so it would make no sense for him to suddenly be tired after/during 13-15 min/games. I'm not sure if Lundell is quite ready for this level yet but even if he wasn't, I won't doubt them being able to provide better results with half decent ice time. I have no idea what gave you impression that first line was better? They where overwhelmed at their own zone plenty of times and it wasn't before Tolvanen joined up as extra forward until they got anything done (the first time in the entire tournament). The first line has been our worst line up until now. The second line was providing results with frigging Nyman in it. I hope Talvitie can boost up Hepo- Kupari moving forward.
That equalizer was pure luck, but hey, everything counts.
