So he is tearing up the OHL right now with 17 points in 6 games. Looked great with the Leafs camp. Might have another gem here for the Leafs.

He's not very big or fast. Wel have to wait and see how far his amazing vision and offensive instincts can carry him in the NHL.

He's going to be a guy who will play in the AHL for a season or two before cracking the roster if at all. If he cracks the roster, he will be a top six player, because I can't see him playing on the 3rd or 4th line in the NHL.

Whatever his future holds, he's a pretty damn exciting player to watch. Hope it translates but I am just glad that the Leafs actually look for and draft players with this sort of exciting potential. No more Jamie Devane or Brad Ross in the second or third round. They want to go big or go home.

Let's not forget that this is his Draft +2 year. This type of production should be expected and shows that he's steadily progressing as a prospect. Let's see if he can maintain this level throughout the entire season!

Amazing, isn't it? :D

Kid can't spell "defense".

Sorry, but you don't play under this regime without effort in all 3 zones; something he doesn't have.

I see him as a pretty longshot prospect. Pretty sure Leipsic, Kozun, and Brown all won a scoring title in junior, and I think only one of them will be an NHLer - and that's Brown, who worked much harder on his overall two-way game than Bracco has so far.

He's refused to consider it since before his OHL days. He simply has no interest in it.

Then he doesn't play for the Leafs. Simple as that.

We have many talented forwards. Connor Brown is playing 4th line when he should realistically be on our second line.

Our forward core is pretty much set. Now we just need the correct depth players. Even if he busts, it was a good risk to take.

You're selling Leipsic short here :sarcasm: Kozun might be a journeymen ahler but I could definitely see Leipsic playing in a top 9, grinder/scoring role with the leafs as soon as next season.

Top 6 bottom 6 really isn't a thing anymore. Hasn't been for a very long time in fact. I'm not sure why people continue to talk like it is.

He can totally have a spot on the third line.

Isn't he AHL eligible?

He is, Marlies are pretty full though at the moment though. He might get a call to the AHL up if he continues to tear up the OHL and the Leafs shed a few veterans to make room for some call ups of their own (Johnsson, Leipsic, Lindberg are all probably due for a real look)

For now it would be great for him to pace towards a 100+pt year over a 40-50 game stretch in the OHL and improve on the defensive aspects of the game. Great start though

Bracco has more raw skill today than all of those prospect do while being 4+ years younger. He had a higher pedigree going into the draft, being pegged as a potential 1st rounder, and broke USDP assist records in his pre-draft season.

If not for a long term injury, Kozun could have carved out a career as a bottom six spark plug in the NHL, a la Paul Byron. He was a fan favourite during his short stint. Brown and Leipsic will both be top 9 players at the very least, for anyone that pays attention to the AHL that much is clear.

But yes, he is a long shot prospect who needs to marinate, which is actually ideal given the high number of NHL ready wingers already in the farm.

He's an exceptionally dynamic skater. Might not have elite top end speed but he is shifty, explosive off the hop, and silky smooth. A water-bug on ice.

There are some really big holes in his game. I think he's a long shot as well.

He can't get a call up. He will only be available once Kitchener's season is over.

He is young and talented. The best thing is that the Leafs have others who will be playing above him, so he won't be rushed and will have to force his way onto the team. No more making the team because you are better than Colton Orr.

The kid is playing some great hockey at his current level. He's excelled at every level he's played and, and obviously has some drive for success. He obviously needs to lern alot, but he's in the right franchise for that now, and can be kept in the AHL until either he learns that game, or walks. It's no biggie, we have depth now. But, the type of offensive success this kid has had, it's pretty rare. Really, whether he plays NHL or not, is completely up to how hard he works.

He has excellent offensive ability but isn't strong enough to play his game at the next level yet, isn't interested enough away from the puck (doesn't back check hard or get engaged often defensively) and is mostly a perimeter player at this point. He's great at the CHL level and the offensive skill and playmaking is certainly strong enough to be an asset at the NHL level, but whether he becomes a player will depend on whether or not he's willing to put in the work off the ice and whether or not he's willing to work with coaches to improve his game away from the puck significantly. He's relied on offensively at this level, so I'm not sure if he'll learn those things until he's at the AHL level and can't get by on his skill alone anymore. I've always seen him as a bit of a project, someone with good potential if they can reach it, but who will need a lot of work, effort and patience to pan out.

Fantastic Player.

He's a project, but there is definite raw potential.

I'm sure Mark Hunter knows him better than HF scouts.
