That would still put him on the 4th line where he would be wasted.
Then maybe he moves to LW either way I expect him on the team next season

Kapanen or Bracco will have to move to the left side. Though Babcock really likes breaking the kids in on the 4th line so when he first comes up it will probably be 4th line and 2nd PP unit. Same as what we did with Johnsson and Kap.That would still put him on the 4th line where he would be wasted.

If Brown is moved the obvious thing to do is Kapanen to the LW. But if he isn't then Kapanen stays on the right (babcock has said this).
Brown can't play LW though. His playstyle is entirely right side of the ice with his open legged stance.
Nylander-Bracco would be the worst possible line combo IMO. Something like this is probably more suitablePossibility of maybe Kadri getting traded in summer and Nylander moving to centre Bracco playing 3RW.
I actually like the looks of your line combos better yeah, good call.Nylander-Bracco would be the worst possible line combo IMO. Something like this is probably more suitable
Kapanen-Matthews-Bracco
Moore-Tavares-Marner
Johnsson-Nylander-Hyman
Kapanen should never be on a line with Matthews, ever again. He doesn't pass the puck or do any dirty work in the corners. He skates into the corner and takes a bad angle shot, losing possession. He is Jason Blake light. Needs to be on the 3rd line where he can use his speed to burn lower d-pairings and easier matchups.Nylander-Bracco would be the worst possible line combo IMO. personally I think Bracco will be hugely more effective on RW, his entry game is really dependent on putting the defenseman to a decision to give him space where he can circle back to create room, or to try to take away space where Bracco then either squirts by on the boards side with the puck and a now-out-of-position defender to make a pass to the front of the net or that hit-the-breaks toe drag move that has the defenseman slide right by and give Bracco a lane to the net. The possession-hog, pass first types usually like their stick on the boards side to defend it with their body a bit moreThen maybe he moves to LW either way I expect him on the team next season
I'm personally hoping Kapanen is moved for a defenseman and that opens up a spot for Bracco with Kadri. Kadri looks lost out there with Kapanen. He's at his best when he's playing with a playmaker (Marner and Nylander have carried him to 30 goal seasons) and I think he'd look great with Bracco.
nylander split 16/17 w matthews and kadriNylander and kadri have hardly ever played together. Nylander in 16/17 (Kadri's first 30 goal season) played with komorov and brown. Then in 17/18 he played with Marleau, marner, komo and brown. Nylander and kadri dont have any chemistry tbh.
What would you trade for him? Petan has been better, and there hasn't been any trade market for him.Do Leafs fans see Bracco getting traded in the offseason? Surely if the Leafs are not going to even give him a chance in the NHL, he should be given the opportunity to see if he can break into the league somewhere else.
Did Bracco have an injury last season with the Marlies?

Petan cleared waivers. Any team could have had him for free, and not a single team did.How would you know what the trade market has looked like for Petan? Him and Bracco have identical numbers in the AHL and Bracco is a couple years younger. Id be pissed if i was Bracco, hes been shafted. No reason he shouldnt have a cup of coffee by now
