Big fan of him. One of the few little guys I think can be an impact player for a long time. I love his game.

I can definitely see him being a top6. Hopefully, Philly can figure out their coaching staff/system. That will be a tell tale sign of whether he can quickly have an impact (even if its small)

9-2 defeat in your fist game. Ooof. Doubt he'll ever play in another game in his career where his team gives up 9.

I bet he’ll play a number over his career, assuming it’s a long one. The Flyers had a 9 goals against game last year too. It’s their first this year, but they get lit up a lot - it’s their 12th game of the season (so far) with 6+ goals against.

9 against is pretty rare in a league like the NHL.

For a lot of teams, yeah, but the Flyers had a 9 GA performance last year too, in their 9-0 loss to the Rangers: Flyers 'embarrassed to be on that ice' in 9-0 loss to Rangers

The Flyers are likely to remain a bottom feeder for the near future, wouldn't be surprised at all to see more 9 GA performances in the coming years. Good teams rarely get lit up that badly, but it certainly happens to bad teams. For example, this season alone Detroit racked up an incredible three 9+ GA losses in about 1 month:
11-2 loss to the Pens on March 27, 2022
9-2 loss to the Yotes on March 8, 2022
10-7 loss to the Leafs on Feb 26, 2022

It's been more common recently as scoring has ramped back up, is definitely a lot more rare in years where scoring is lower. But if Brink has a long NHL career, especially one starting on a bottom feeder Flyers team, I doubt this will be his last time on the losing end of a 9+ goal game. Certainly not the best first game experience, though!

Haha love the emphasis of the middle name by the PBP guy. Happy for Bobby to have success early after coming back from an injury that takes quite some time to recover from.

Five goals in 11 games but the -6 is discouraging.

Anyone who has seen the Phantoms play have any thoughts?

Thoughts from watching play last year for the flyers is that skating is still an issue when he's not in the O-zone. Struggles to keep up with the pace of play everywhere but the O-zone.

Well that's a horrible trait for someone his size.

16 points in 19 games so far in the AHL.

Does anyone know his ice time? his shot on goal number is super low; its only 17.
AHL doesnt track TOI. As far as shooting, its low indeed but it was higher when he played 10 games last year: 18 shots.elite prospects mentions « great playmaker ability » so maybe not a shoot-first type. I can see him setting up Cutter Gauthier for years.

He is a pass first type of player, but his shooting is very good. He plays a lot like Nick Suzuki, he can def rip it when he needs to, but sometimes you wish he would need to a little bit more.

Happy to see he's back to being Bobby Brink, theres a player in there.
