Does he compare well to William, Swedish fans?

Comparing their stats at the same age, it doesn't seem very close (43 points in 27 games at the age of 16 for William, 24 points in 23 games for Alexander).

I'd love to see the Leafs add another Nylander in the pipeline though

They are pretty similar. Alex is a bit bigger and plays a more mature game but William was perhaps more dominating offensively. I think Alex could put up a lot better numbers on a better team, they are dead last in the league.

nope Nylander's better because he has better flow and is more handsome.

Right now, Alexander he is becoming a solid prospect. Similiar numbers as his brother's numbers as a RW, if he puts up the same numbers next year like his brother William. I would expect him to be drafted around 15 to 20 overall to be realistic. I am expecting to go higher, I am expecting him light up the league. If he was part the 2015 draft I would draft him mid to late 2nd round. Wingers value are slightly lower than a center.

The good: elite vision, very quick on his feet and hands very good

The bad: doesn't check well, not following through and having difficult to take the body.

The ugly: defensive needs work not as bad as his brother. I am not say William is horrible at defence he doing quite well no way near needs to be to get in the NHL.

I definitely see him more as a center than a winger, and he's not going in a late 2nd round in any draft.

The times I've seen him he's struck me more as the center type, offensive player but definitely one that wants to play defense aswell. He's also looked slightly bigger than William but instead a slightly worse skater(still very good). Not the same wow factor but very capable compared to most.

He could, very unlikely. In the 2015 draft if was eligible 42gp 15G 25A 40pts isn't bad at all. The problem he has 5'10ft tall at 160lbs which scares a lot GMs to select a guy his size. Not saying they don't get selected in 1st round. At the U17 did very well.

5'10 and 160lbs doesn't scare GMs at all. If anything it shows how raw he is. He will be a 1st round pick in any draft. Definitely not going to be a mid 2nd even in this draft.

He looks bigger than William who is listed as 5'11.
