That would be an awesome pickup. Could see Ottawa doing us a favor and trading him to the Oilers for cheapAgain I'll say, put Arvidsson on LTIR and fill some roster spots. Getting Matheson or Jensen is much easier with Arvy on the shelf.
I also wonder if you could get Giroux out of Ottawa at 50% on the cap.
And then when Arvi comes back what happens?Again I'll say, put Arvidsson on LTIR and fill some roster spots. Getting Matheson or Jensen is much easier with Arvy on the shelf.
I also wonder if you could get Giroux out of Ottawa at 50% on the cap.
I have a weird feeling Trouba will be an Oiler. I am normally wrong every time fyi.Rangers have multiple deals on the table involving Trouba but they all need his consent to waive his modified no-trade. The sense is Trouba was going to sleep on it last night and perhaps decide today.
Fancy 3-way trade or retention is the only way. See why I said I am always wrong?I'd take Trouba but not sure how he could possibly fit under the cap
I mean you stretch out his recovery so he's ready for the playoffs. It happens. And then when Arvi comes back what happens?
Heck it's doing Giroux a favour too, he's not getting any younger and wants a shot at something. That would be an awesome pickup. Could see Ottawa doing us a favor and trading him to the Oilers for cheap
Hope you’re wrong. He sucks.I have a weird feeling Trouba will be an Oiler. I am normally wrong every time fyi.
holy smokes, they want him GONE
He may not be the best defenseman, but his hard play would be very welcome in the playoffs. Look what Vancouver did to us with Zadorov, Myers, and Soucy.Hope you’re wrong. He sucks.
That's a contract that you should have to pay picks for someone to take.If I'm Trouba I'm calling that bluff.
No one is claiming a contract that big for a player doing so badly, and one who will be disgruntled as well. I do believe a trade could happen but only with retention. That only happens if he waives
Okay, fair point and I agree.I mean you stretch out his recovery so he's ready for the playoffs. It happens.
Heck it's doing Giroux a favour too, he's not getting any younger and wants a shot at something.
Weird. That's what my wife wrote on my side of the bathroom mirror.I have a weird feeling Trouba will be an Oiler. I am normally wrong every time fyi.
And they lost.He may not be the best defenseman, but his hard play would be very welcome in the playoffs. Look what Vancouver did to us with Zadorov, Myers, and Soucy.
