Maybe we could pull a mind bender and have TWO TEAMS No one knows how to defend against that. There's gonna be a glut of players here if they sign Saad
RNH McDavid Hyman
Saad Draisaitl Arvidsson
Kane (?) Henrique Podkolzin
Perry Janmark Brown
Kapanen Philp Ryan
Skinner (lol)
Ekholm Bouchard
Nurse Magical Trade Deadline D
Kulak Klingberg
Stetcher Emberson
Regula Brown
The above is stupid and overkill, ship out someone (Kane, Arvidsson) and bring back John Gibson, we need insurance in net more than continual forward/D adds.
I think they try and move skinner for sureIt feels like we already have a lot of wingers on this team, especially when you consider Kane might be back for playoffs.
If we add Saad you have to assume someone is getting moved, right?
I dont know how Saad works otherwise. I wonder if theyve lined up a move with someone like Carolina or Colorado. Because I can't see any way Skinner waives to go to a non-playoff team.I think they try and move skinner for sure
For sure they’ll have to find a fit. Colorado. Maybe Boston. There’s options.I dont know how Saad works otherwise. I wonder if theyve lined up a move with someone like Carolina or Colorado. Because I can't see any way Skinner waives to go to a non-playoff team.
This is the deepest team in Oilers historyThere's gonna be a glut of players here if they sign Saad

I wouldn't be married to Arvidsson, JSkinner, Henrique ... these guys are not living up to the contracts they signed and I wouldn't be opposed to seeing 1 or 2 of the 3 gone. Signing them is not working out as hoped.
Definitely, especially if its for under 2.5m combined. Still have money to play with at deadline. Saad scored 26 last year, Klingberg remains to be seen.Do Saad and Klingberg move the needle for this team?
Depends how much game they have left. Maybe they do maybe they don’t. If klingberg is right and his skating is the best it’s been in years maybe he can fill a hole. Saad scored 26 goals last year and is strong down low and on the boards. Not sure what his deal is this year.Do Saad and Klingberg move the needle for this team?

Is Saad a good skater?
Lol Skinner isn't waiving his NMC lololI think they try and move skinner for sure
Yes, by all accounts from Blues fans he still skates wellIs Saad a good skater?
Depth is never a bad thing. Saad should still be a NHL player and has a lot of experience under his belt. Klingberg if he truly is healthy could be an impact defenseman.Do Saad and Klingberg move the needle for this team?
You think Skinner wants to continue to sit in the press box? Why wouldn't he waive. He probably wants an opportunity.Lol Skinner isn't waiving his NMC lolol
I mean if making the playoffs as a healthy scratch is his idea of a good time that's up to him. Maybe if Boston trades Marchand it opens up a golden opportunity for him in bean town?Lol Skinner isn't waiving his NMC lolol
Or he might get a PTO Mike Hoffman style next training camp. You think Skinner wants to continue to sit in the press box? Why wouldn't he waive. He probably wants an opportunity.
Lol Skinner isn't waiving his NMC lolol
He might. What’s his next contract going to look like riding the pine here? If another playoff team has interest it could happen.Lol Skinner isn't waiving his NMC lolol
I agree that they could add something - but both are big questionmarks and, based on their most recent sample of NHL play, neither is a good player right now.Depth is never a bad thing.
