I don't disagree, but a better 2C option improves the team, especially if one of McDrai ends up banged up and can't run their own line down the middle

This is a rumors and proposals thread, not complaining about our goalies even though that is 25 percent of the long winded comments on here.

St Louis could for sure find someone to take on Saad, they probably just don't want to retain. He's not worth 4.5 mill, but at 2.25, he'd be a decent bottom 6 add.

Bruh.... just accept they robbed us, Holloway is already a central backbone of their offense (on a measly $2.3M cap-hit) and Broberg while not without issues has acclimated pretty darn well to his enhanced role.

The Blues would be in the Anaheim / Nashville range of the standings if they didn't get those 2 off of us for next to nothing, it greatly improved the quality of their team.

Broberg hasn’t been good.

Holloway for sure but his steal of a cap-hit is irrelevant if they aren’t making the playoffs. When they are ready to turn the corner (if they ever are) he will be making a lot more.

I would push back on Broberg. He's had a fine developmental year, and had a hot start. But him here at 4.5 million right now would be awful.

Holloway was obviously a miscalculation, Skinner has not worked out and Holloway took a big step. That one will sting.
