Just looking at the age of the bottom 6 on this team....

Henrique - 35 (by the end of the regular season)
Janmark - 32 (by the end of the regular season)
Ryan - 38 (by the end of the regular season)
J Skinner - 33 (by the end of the regular season)
Brown - 31 (by the end of the regular season)
Perry - 40 (by the end of the season)

The average age (on lines 3 and 4) for the start of the playoffs will be 35 years old.

Anyone else see this as a potential probelm?
They are the easiest to swap out. Short contracts

Why Jiricek. He's trash. No time to develop him.

Provy would be awesome
In watching Jiricek there were multiple times I watched him and he had the look of a guy who has been in the league for much longer like 4-5 seasons, with really solid fundamentals. Other times he very much struggled, but I would not be shocked to see him fast tracked and produce at a similar level to Bowen Byram when he won a Cup.

I'm not going to say he is the answer cause a soon to be 21 yr old d-man rarely is, but I will say I do like him quite a bit and he is one the few players his age that are struggling that I wouldn't reject outright.

------------------------------------

With respect to the other names I view Provorov in a similar light to Chychrun, he's got a lot of skill but also brings a bit of chaos, I'm always a bit hesitant matching this type with Nurse, I prefer only one of this player type on a pairing; though if it works its got big home run potential.

Pettersson I view similarly to Chris Tanev, just a plain safe steady d-man, I'd say the central difference though is Pettersson's game while he still does hit and block shots, he doesn't take as many dumb risks so tends to be more durable.

It's hard for me to parse what's on the radar vs. off the radar, since these boards talk about everyone eventually lol.

Even I'm not sure. Regardless, just acquire a damn good player to fix that damn hole of a top four spot on the defense for good.

He's got 2 less points than rnh and hyman and 1 more point by than arvidsson if anything his signing is down the line of terrible value so far this year
Arvidsson……
Another exercise in 4D chess

That coupled with waived Skinner is a lesson on “how to burn whatever cap space we have”
Let’s free 10m more up, let’s see, Eckholm, Kulak?
And grab Uberdough

Parayko would be something else but the cap just doesn’t math.

I will second Dobson, that would be out of nowhere.
