a lot lol a prospect who looks like hell be a career ahler a first round pick and a 2nd pick which both look to be late in their respective rounds.
 
It is interesting how Jackson said the org's focus was to bring back a youth movement. Since then we lost Broberg and Holloway because we needed to get some older wingers, and we've passed up on adding Fabbro or Jiricek, and it seems like we could have outbid for Tomasino if we really wanted him. I get the feeling the defenseman we add will be well over 30.

Granted, they brought in Podkolzin and Emberson, although it's not like gave up big asset value for them.

That's not a bar for a top four D. That's a bar for a RD of his skillset and draft pedigree.

With Hunt going there, I'm making calls now setting up a play for Provorov if I'm Bowman. Hunt is ready to play games now.

CBJ is set up well for the draft this year, so they'd probably be open to taking our 1st in '26. They may also have some interest in our Russian who seems to be making a name in the KHL this season.

Nonsense you're acting like I'm saying the only way they should have traded him is if they got a guaranteed top six pick in the 2025 draft back. This is a massive L on Columbus front and there is probably a sleuth of gms out their kicking themselves finding out this is all it took. It was negligence on the gms part in the same way it was negligent for the pronger trade when half the gms came out and said they didn't even know he was available.

That would be cool. I don't see us adding until the deadline but I could be wrong.

It seems to me that the Jackets are not going to be sellers. They are going for it
 
Jiricek went for a bit less than I expected and a truck ton less than what Blue Jackets thought they were going to get. However it’s a kick to the balls to see Colorado and Minnesota active the last 24 hours and Bowman f***ing himself again.

The doubt surrounding his skating and the patience of his agent are seemingly quite real at this point.
Billy and his boys will tell that agent to pound sand though.
