Unless he trades Yamo, WF, Ceci or Kulak which I don’t think he wants to.

He has no choice.

Absolutely not but I also think a lot of posters on here live in a fantasy world and I wanted some of that for the day…;)

We can deal for anyone making 1.7 mil or less at 50% retention and send Shore directly to the AHL. Same thing on D if we sent down Broberg or Desharnais.

For whatever reason HF has collectively blocked the fact Klef was pretty bad defensively out of their minds. Nurse for all his warts still leads the team in +\- even in the role he plays. Klef was usually the worst - on the team. Was only a + player once.

To be fair I think Klefbom's +/- was dragged down by Adam Larsson's mental implosion but yeah Nurse was clear of him as early as 2018-19.
 
It must totally suck to be a fan of the Flames right now... sitting in No man's land. No playoff spot, no chance for Bedard, no trades for futures, no real good prospects... just stting there in mediocracy cheering for a core that is aging and on their retirement contracts. Not to mention being stuck with watching boring Sutter hockey and having a coach that favors old vets like Lucic and Lewis over younger guys. Imagine what they could have done if they had committed to a full rebuild last summer... having the chance to deal out Huberdeau, Weegar, Toffoli, Backlund this year for more picks.

Everyone in Edmonton should be cheering for the Flames second after the Oilers. If Edmonton is out, then cheer for the other Alberta team!
