The only name someone threw out was Saros by Shawn Simpson, but I highly doubt anything happens. Oh, and Rishaug having a cryfest about his BFF Barrie not on the Oilers and saying we are worse after the Ekholm trade.

Possible, but unlikely. Janmark? Don't think so. Foegele? This is the only one I think is realistic at all, but even here I pretty clearly land with Foegele over Holloway (twice as many points in same number games, and a veteran). I think Holloway only sees ice if there are a couple injuries.

He'll play some games, but yeah seeing how Woodcroft is in love with Janmark and Kostin is a different style. Injuries will get him in.

It won't take long for Yams to be injured though and Foegele shifts over to the right lol.

That's the thing, Yamo is also in over his head. He got closelined by Holl and just took it.

Lavoie is super streaky, he's either blazing hot or ice cold, I'd worry that he is nowhere close to being ready to handle NHL defense or NHL speed and we'd get him ice cold and send him back down with no confidence and turn what is looking like a positive year into a negative one. Let him build a stronger base and more confidence through a prolonged period of success before giving him his first shot.

Also I've never been a big fan of Lavoie's defensive game, where as Yamo even when he isn't scoring is an asset on the PK and his general defensive play has improved this year.

I still remember when he was touting Barrie as the “next Letang” 4-5 months ago.

I don't agree with this, I think Klefbom was a smarter defender, Nurse gets himself caught in dumb situations too often (ie: doesn't know whether to cover the open man or fall back to the net front, but just ends up screening his own goalie). Klefbom made mistakes too but they weren't as glaring.

According to this, a contract can be terminated if the player and team mutually agree to it (other sources on the web say the same thing). Calgary wouldn't be able to put him on waivers fast enough.
