Just that I see a lot of the social justice being enforced across social media when celebs and athletes say something "bad", but those same people have no problem slandering the shit out of athletes for poor performance or leaving via FA and it's fine because they have their millions of dollars and can just log off.

I don't think there's much of an overlap there, most of the people who talk shit on social are dude bros or anonymous trolls who don't care about social justice issues at all.

I guess my point is social media is a cesspool, we know this and if a pro athlete feels they need to be active on there for the sake of their personal brand, that's a risk they are willingly taking on. I don't entirely disagree with you. But I think it's a really weak argument that they have lots of money so they're good. I've had this debate with a good friend of mine a few times, and to me it just shouldn't matter. It's just more of the "when it suits me" stance that I always say most people take.

Few things bug me.:
1) People (Cosby) are not found innocent. They are found not guilty. A finding of guilt has a very high threshold. Not guilty in no way shape or form makes a person "innocent". When lawyers (i.e. Cosby's) say their client was found innocent, it drives me batty
2) related to #1. There is no god given right to play professional hockey. Depending on the rules of any particular league, they do not necessarily have to wait until the very high threshold of "Guilty" is found in order to suspend him/make him ineligible to play.
