Given he's playing at a high level in his return to the SHL, that bodes well.
On the other hand, he only had 41 SHL games under his belt before this season, and 66 games in Allsvenskan.
Guess we'll have to see how he finishes out the season, a strong push and I think he comes over.

How's his defense?

+/- is crude, but 0 is hard to gauge on a team with mediocre goaltenders, most teammates slightly negative, but another D-man at +11.

Though he's on a tear, last 5g 1-6 7 +5.

5’9”/183#. Fat Flahr says this guy is too small for the NHL. Need to have Risto size to play this game.
Flahr drafted him. And York, Brink, and Tuomaala.
I suspect 2 years after he was drafted, Andrae is more like 5'9 190+.

Speaking of Tuomaala, @Appleyard, have you heard anything? He's been on a goal scoring streak since he went to Metsis.

As someone 5’9, ~190 in my hockey days, it was always amusing when much taller, slimmer guys would try lining you up. Low centre of gravity made for a bad end result for them. Andrae is not undersized at all and in watching him, he does use this familiar “squatness” to his full advantage.

Him being drafted does not constitute evidence that Fat f*** Flahr and Cuck are open to “undersized” guys.

Poor Andrae. He's going to come over to North America next year and if Schmuck and Nature Boy are still here, they're going to send him to Lehigh Valley for the Laperriere experience and course on how to get ready for the NHL. Laperriere is going to coach all the skill out of his game and teach him how to body check.

What LHD is getting shipped out this summer? Andrae doesn't strike me as one who will be long for the AHL.

From the sound of Friedman, Provorov is the one who goes and Sahnheim stays.

Andrae will probably spend a couple months in LHV acclimating to NA hockey, then be up around Christmas.
Zamula has the inside track to replace Provorov, he's been logging a lot of minutes in LHV and has impressed Torts.
If Attard is deemed ready, York may move back to LHD.

So I don't think they're worried about replacing Provorov if they get a good offer in June.

I don't want to get too excited, but the kid seems like he might be a good one.

revolving door or permanent?

Do you see attard zamula both in the top 6 on opening night? Even if we assume Ivan is traded?

Andrae is not Bartulis, he's played at a high level at each level at a young age, and is off to a good start in LHV.
He may well find it easier to play in NA, the wider ice rewards speed, the smaller NA rinks reward instincts and positioning.
