You take whoever comes your way. Go Leafs Go we just took down the 2 time cup champions and 3 time cup finalists. Bring on whoever comes our way.

If the main objective is winning a cup you want the best matchups and the home ice advantage so the Panthers would be the team I'd want to face. Hoping for the presidents trophy winners just to exercise fictitious demons doesn't make sense to me. Leafs also adjusted to playing on the road in Florida, why not keep it going.

Doesn't matter who we get. These 2 teams have been even since March.

I'd prefer the aging Bruins. Bergeron and Marchand are not the same as the past and the wear and tear has already piled up this late in the season. For instance, It's not a guarantee Bergeron will play the entire series. Tkachuk/Barkov/Ekblad is a core where everyone is in their prime. I'll take my chances with Pasta and McAvoy. Marner and Tavares are proven effective in containing Pasta.

Either way Leafs in 4 but the easier 4 is Boston. That might sound insane. Just trust the process.

Edmonton looks like a pure farce.

They can't defend, the goalie is either lights out or a sieve (usually goes through cycles of both phases in the same game a few times), and they rely on the power play the same as animals rely on Oxygen to live.

A healthy Colorado team steamrolls them again this year.

Carolina is the real deal, but missing 2 of their top players isn't helpful.
They seem to be scoring rather well at even strength this series. Edmonton will play Vegas and I’m not sure Colorado (if they beat Seattle) will beat Dallas.

Carolina is the real deal with Anderson in net? Yet, Skinner is a sieve. Ok

Don't galaxy brain this shit. There's no way around it. We want the higher likelihood of advancing. We want Florida. There's nothing complicated about this.
Until Gudas the destroyer changes your mind?

So what are we thinking here? Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday to get us started?

Based on last season, it looks like the min days off between series was 3.

Have to think Saturday night is a preferred night for a Leafs game. Maybe we don't start until Thursday then?

What is positive for me is we somehow left the series healthy or as healthy as possible in the post season. Bruins got banged up, Tampa got banged up, lots of things like that.

We're in a really good spot here.

Guessing the series goes Thursday and Saturday.
If it’s against the Bruins what’s the odds Saturday is an afternoon game?

The difference between Boston/Toronto in the regular season was Boston won the games against bottom 5 teams, the teams they should have beat. The Leafs did not.

Look at their record against the teams top teams, playoff teams, they are very similar.

I'm really getting ahead of myself here, but if Florida wins tonight then the Leafs will have had the more successful season than Boston

I think Florida is a much better team than they get credit for. Either way, this series will be another tight battle against a great opponent
