I know I’m just addressing always. The resales that were 350-400 probably are bleeds. Nose bleeds in florida probably pay you. if you know what i mean
Also I think you guys are talking specifically from the point of view of someone who lives in the GTA. From Regina, picking up cheaper tickets in FLA and flying there looks like it would be significantly lower overall cost.

a tuesday game means leafs have double the rest of the panthers (2/1). A wednesday game means just 50% more rest (3/2).

I like it.

There’s this underrated (imo) YouTube channel, Pinholes Graham they’re called, that does lots of in depth videos about the NHL and gone in depth on different playoff series. He recently put one out about how much rest and days off is worth during the playoffs before the next series.

Spoiler alert, but the more rested teams have a much worse record than they’re opponents during the playoffs.

So with the power of hindsight, it’s probably better that the Leafs needed 6 to beat the Lightning, as now the Leafs both get some rest, but not so much that they’ve been twiddling their thumbs for days on end.

Oh man just realized how much Paul Maurice is going to milk the media scrums and press conferences with his sweet talking skills

E.g. today:

That's hilarious . . . Maurice acting like he already won the cup!

I mean I get it - they beat the best record team etc etc . . . but he's really waxing poetic, it's all a bit too rich for me.

That mentality bodes well for us and brings up an instant impression I got after the Leafs won and I saw the player and coach clips . . .

The Leafs to a MAN were in the frame of mind of a winner: great win, monkey off back, feels good - that's the first step. now we move on to the second step. (get yer work boots on we're just getting started) I really, REALLY liked the tone set by both coach and players, and it's a contrast to Maurice's tone here.

I know Justin Holl has been the whipping boy on D for a while, justifiably so especially these POs, but man...you gotta feel for the guy a little. He's quickly playing himself out a significant FA contract. If he doesn't play again this year (fingers crossed...for fans, I mean) he'll be lucky to get league minimum from anybody except Arizona. Maybe the Islanders if Lou comes back LOL. Still, no one to blame but himself.

I could only make it about 1 minute in before having to shut it off. Waaay to many words to say "Boston choked", you'd think the Florida players personally performed life saving surgery on 20 orphans the way he is going on about it.

I don't feel sorry for millionaires.

Either you're good enough or you aren't.

Bruins should have won game 5...Ullmark gave them a gift in OT.

I'm sure he'll have multiple offers even if he doesn't play another minute. A bad series doesnt change thr fact that he's still a decent bottom pairing dman. Unfortunately, he's been used more like a mid pairing dman and got into his own head last series which was a bad mix, but he's still a valuable NHLer in the right circumstances.

Would love to see Jarn and Knies changing spots but other than that I love the lineups.

Is it possible that we're really not going to see Holl start the series against Florida?

Keefe learned from his mistakes??? Almost too good to be true...
I agree with you. I find Jarnkrok effective with Matthews and we saw first hand on Saturday when Knies and Tavares are on a line together.

Add Marner to them and they are nightmare to defend.

Love Bunting with O’Reilly and Acciari. Those are the guys he needs to be modelling his game after.

Good to see ZAR back and I can live with Kerfoot on 4RW.

Liljegren needs to stay in and Holl needs to stay out.

So far so good Keefer…..

He is an inbetweener .. top pair AHL/6th/7th NHL D .. this is based solely on his hockey skills - skating speed, edge work, stick work, positional skills and hockey brain .. his analytics make some spreadsheet guys think he is better than his skills .. but reality is he looked much better when he played with an NHL top end defensive #2 D in Muzzy (most guys do) .. and you see da reality when he plays with a guy almost washed up in Gio .. pretty much everyone I talk to in hockey sees it very similar .. he got his 6M from Dubie and good for him .. i think he will get another 1-2 years deal at league minimum

To anyone who this is getting in the way of - use a VPN and switch your location to the states when you buy your tickets. Should get around this no problem.
First, it's ticketmaster using the address on your credit card to determine location, so a VPN won't help.

Second, it's only for the first 24 hours of sale, and doesn't apply to season ticket holders or resale.

Should have put in Swayman earlier then. He had a really good season and would have been capable giving them a shot to win the series in Game 6 or something.
Yeah, Montgomery starting Ullmark in game 6 after his OT gaffe was a colossal mistake. If Swayman plays game 6 they are probably facing us right now.

Please God keep Wes away from our series for games 1 and 2, and 5 and 7 if necessary. Better yet, don’t let him ref any games in this series.

Home teams are only 18-31 overall, so 18-26 without Wes, which is still barely 40%.

No team has won all their home games. Two (Winnipeg 0-2 and Tampa 0-3) have lost them all.

Toronto (3-0) and Vegas (2-0) have won all their road games. Nobody has lost them all.

(The latter paragraph being an obvious corollary to the former.)

Does this mean that Wes' hatred isn't so much against the Leafs as it is against home fans?
