EDIT: Latest lines

I was going to go with a hockey cards theme, and have each line illustrated by each player's card...but we have no idea what our lines will be and it doesn't matter because none of them have any chemistry, so here's this instead. Rumour is Desharnais is playing tomorrow, so I put him in Flynn's spot...it's the only one that makes even one iota of sense, but this is Therrien so...

And of course DD is back in

Secret weapon, MT even tried to throw the Bolts off by telling the media Davey wasn't making the trip, imagine Tampa shaking in their skates when DD comes out of the tunnel when they thought they dodged that bullet for a couple of games...

Flames showed lots of heart by winning a tough one, now it's our turn, all hands on deck, season is on the line

We're going to win.

... right?

PP: 3.8%
PK: 71.9%

How can someone NOT get fired with those stats?

I think that MT has been conducting himself with class in much of every press conference he has had since rejoining the Habs. A far cry from his first stint with us and the one with the Pens. He has matured tremendously since then and it shows.

As for his system, its not all that different than most other coaches in the league with similar personnel.

Best coach in the league couldn't get past the first round so all you coach bashers need to stop thinking that a coach makes that much of a diff. When a team doesn't get it done, usually its about the team and not the coach but its so much easier to blame the coach though. Some of you just expect way too much from our current lineup. Players like PLeks, Patches, Desharnais, Galchenyuk and Galagher have NEVER been able to make a diff in the playoffs offensively and untill our best players can make that diff, Im afraid we will not be serious SC contenders.

Agreed. The PP alone should be grounds for firing. Therrien has failed fix the power play for two year. The guy he brought in to fix it (Lacroix) has failed. Both must go.

Tampa was the highest scoring team in the season, yet were shutout twice by a rookie goaltender. They were also predicted to oust Detroit in 4-5.

Vancouver went from a perennial playoff team to missing out for the first time in six years and tumbling all the way down to 24th, where the Sedins posted their worst production in a decade under John Tortorella. He gets fired and what to do you know? Both Sedins rank top ten in scoring and the Canucks claim all the way up to 8th.

But sure, coaching has no affect on a team.

These brutal, atrocious playoff stats should be enough to send this coaching staff packing with the exception of Waite and Jodoin.
