Why would I take a bet with something completely subjective? Do you understand how bets work?

Furthermore, I never said he didn't have room. I said Mason robbed him. Which he did. NBC also acknowledged this. So even if we had a bet, NBC is already on my side so I guess you'd need to pay up now, right?

But keep your agenda going. It's adorable. I love it when guys can't give credit to the opposition.

You just contradicted yourself. If Stepan had plenty of room and missed, how can it be a great save?

A photo would be objective proof.

Because Mason flashed his glove up and took it out of the air.

1+1=2.

It's quite simple. You should try watching hockey without an agenda for once. You've been an "all of the Rangers' skaters suck" guy for your entire tenure on this board and have refused to give any credit to the opposition for making good plays.

Basically Larry Melnyk (miss that dude) without the humor.

I was starting to think that all those missed chances in the 2nd, we're gonna bite us on the arse in the 3rd, but great job.

Plenty to work on, but we're still in it.

Well I'm happy with the result. I think Miller and Fast have both played pretty well but there's at least as good of a reason to play Carcillo than either of them. Huge goal by him today--2 goals in 3 games played--that's pretty ****ing good. Pouliot with the series winner.

Anyway I much prefer Dave Maloney to Joe Micheletti. Maloney doesn't find excuses for bad officiating. He doesn't have a sweet gig with the league on national television broadcasts. A bad call on Pouliot as Maloney correctly pointed out--then completely missing Hartnell tripping McDonagh from behind on the subsequent Flyer pwp--shortly followed by a missing call on MacDonald for sticking Carcillo in the nuts after a whistle. All in all a pathetic job of refereeing and Maloney was right on top of it.

People are voting for player of the game right?

Because the two highest voted guys right now are Zucc and Carcillo.

Stars of the series are St. Louis, Dom Moore, Brian Boyle, Marc Staal and Dan Girardi.

HM to Brad Richards and Henrik Lundqvist and Dan Carcillo. Possibly Zucc for his pass tonight, but he was incredibly quiet for most of the series.

As for tonight, wow was Nash engaged. He was throwing the body and getting so many chances. Why can't he play like that every night? Does he realize that when he plays like this he's just teasing us? Because he goes back to being a perimeter player. If he stays this engaged, he's a game breaker. I mean he was slashing with Simmonds, finishing checks and laying people out, getting such chances.

I admit Mason played well. You refuse to admit that Hank played well.

Who has the agenda?

And to reiterate, Acheson's goal was not a soft goal. When a player shoots from close in and the puck immediately comes back to his stick, the angle to the goalie changes making it near impossible to remain square to the shooter.

By the way, a few posters agreed with me in the other thread about Stepan. I don't think a single poster agreed with you, but you must be right because you said you have eyes.

It's funny. If someone had tucked a shot in against Hank because he was off the post, you would call it a soft goal. Stepan misses and it is a great save.

Not even happy we won. If this team expects to play like they did this series or like they did in this game we will get DEMOLISHED!!!!! Show some killer instinct and finish a team off.

Great defensive effort.

IMO, Hank & Nash stepped their games up tonight decidedly. Nice to see McD-Girardi have a bounce back game.

Zucc has really found another level to his game.

Rangers playoffs taxi squad

Noticed these names as scratched tonight on Yahoo box of tonight's game:

David LeNeveu, Conor Allen, Tommy Hughes, Dylan McIlrath, Danny Syvret, Ryan Bourque, Danny Kristo, Oscar Lindberg, Darroll Powe.

There are also Diaz, Falk, Fast, Kreider and Miller.

I have to agree about Maloney. My opinion is that he is secure enough to point out obvious situations. That is what a colour guy has to do, point out that a slash and a crosscheck from two different Flyers players occurred, without a call being made. That's honesty.

Forget about gushing about the opposition players who just did those things. Why fall all over yourself with salutations to the guys who are abusing your team, and not paying the piper?

Hank, Carcillo,D Moore, Zucc, Stralman. This team with its close calls. Gonna relax for a while.

Rangers never make it easy...That is the way with rivals, but damn I hate the Penguins. I hope the team stays focused. That defense was huge...We need Kreider back as well

Nash must show up next series with goals, he had a good game though...He knew he had to try or this would have been a devastating loss

I thought Nash had a good game. Anybody else?

1st and 2nd periods were good. 3rd period he was kinda bad. a lot of botched plays sending the momentum in Philly's favor but he was at least contributing defensively so he wasn't horrible overall.
