Staal, Zucc and Richards are my MVP for the series but less not forget Boyle and his awesome play from day 1.

Nice win. Held on there. Lundqvist made some big saves down the stretch there. I know I've been critical of Hank here, but he made some important saves there to keep his team in the lead. Next up is Pittsburgh.

So much for not having a shot at game 7 huh? On to the Pens!

Agreed.

But he was not as bad as some of you made him out to be.

He played strong in another elimination game and was certainly a big factor in this win.

For everyone saying he is not clutch, he is what... 4-0 in Game 7's now? Or 4-1?

Not a bad stat to have.

He played a good game and stood tall when he had to. That's all you want out of your goaltender.

I don't even think he was bad overall. He just let by some REALLY bad goals at really bad times. I mean, overall? He played well enough. We just need better than that against the Pens.

star of game

was anton stralman. he was an absolute warrior tonight. i expected a little more out of brad the herpes richards. over all. good game. nash played well even though he didn't get a goal but he was engaged. hitting, shooting, playing solid d. he is extremely streaky which is good. hopefully he turns it on and goes on a run in the pens series cause were gonna need his firepower.

It doesn't matter hank can allow two goals in a game. Where his team scored one goal and he'd get called fraudulent. No way do rangers fans deserve him. They deserve the Nash's Richards Gomes etc.

Anyways rangers team is very likeable. For two players. Lundqvist and Moore. Lgr. Twelve more.

Zucc, Carcillo, Staal as my 3 stars.

Nash was very good tonight. Just so snake bitten. If he can keep playing like this he will score. And it will be glorious.

I think Nash will have an easier time against the pens...but we'll see.

Loved everyone tonight. Still wish Nash would pot one, but he got his chances and played pretty well.

Very good bounce back by Lundqvist.

"The Carcillo Effect"

Let's take it to Pittsburgh.

I'd go Poo, Zucc, and Staal. MSL was great, too. Nash and MSL with the honorable mentions.

In the previous thread you told us that your eyes told you what you saw, yet I would be willing to bet you 100 dollars you were dead wrong on your statement about Stepan not having room to tuck it in on Mason.

Let me know if you are interested in making the bet.

You spent the whole series seeing only what you wanted to see. When called on it you would retreat and say the team played poorly.

Anyone who thought Acheson's goal was soft had an agenda or does not understand what happened.

Sather deserves credit. They don't finish 2nd in the division and beat Philly without depth scoring, which killed them previous postseasons.

Moore, Pouliot, Klein, Carcillo. All four had a very good series and cost next to nothing to acquire.

My three stars are very different. I don't have MZA as a star.

Stralman was our best player tonight. A defensive machine, pitched in offensively.

Carcillo was huge for us in this one.

Thought Lundqvist stood tall too. Very solid game.

OH GO **** YOURSELF.

HOW WAS THAT ICING YOU **** MOTHER****ER.

I WANT THESE ****ING **** STAIN REFS FIRED.

**** this ****.

**** this ****ing **** you biased mother****ers.

****ing **** ass pieces of garbage.

That was some fast typing under pressure

Staal, Dom, and MSL are my 3 stars for this series. It's especially nice to see Moore playing so well.

I went Staal, Zucc, and MSL. I feel Zucc was our best forward. He created offense and won board battles there too. Staal played great defensively, and MSL created some much needed offense.

I've never felt like this after a series win. I more bummed than I thought I'd be. It's just that the Rangers showed everything that makes them good in this game and series and everything that makes them bad. I'm glad they sacked up and won after the terrible performance yesterday. And I'm not ever surprised by Lundqvist's softies anymore.

Good series, guys. And please beat the Penguins.
Maybe give Nash a year supply of Fast Acting Advil, I hear it helps.

Anyone who thought Acheson's goal was soft had an agenda or does not understand what happened.

Why would I make a bet about a subjective breakdown of a play with someone as biased and agenda-based as you? I never said he had no room to stuff it in. I said that Mason made an incredible save on him. Which he did. Which everyone on NBC acknowledged. I know you find it impossible to give credit to the opposition, though. Making a bet with you would be like me making a bet with nevesis on something Lundqvist related. Why would I subject myself to that? Hank basically admitted it was soft on NBC when he said he just lost it.

I think Philadelphia might be tougher than Pitt. Just a feeling. Mason>Fleury.

Plus, McD was much less than 100% and is getting better day-by-day.

Ranger defense > Pitt

Need to bury more opportunities. Also have a feeling Nash will score more against Pitt.

Dont fool yourself. Fleury plays well against us. Plus, if you think the refs were questionable this round wait until the pens are involved.
