Think Nylander should get a shift with Matthews? Maybe actually Put someone on the powerplay half wall opposite Matthews who has better than a peewee shot maybe? It’s ridiculous. You get perimeter passing because everyone and their dog knows marner and rielly aren’t shooting anything

All season long this was a team that depended on Matthews/Marner with occasional contributions from Tavares/Nylander.
They had no depth to score if Matthews didn’t.
Can’t win in the playoffs with that formula.

Daddy Marner probably put a clause in Marner contract he had to play with Matthews. Babs probably told him to f*** off so Dubas fired him so he wouldn't get scolded by Daddy Marner
