Was bored and reading through some previous threads I created, as recent as last year. Man after the Leafs series lost to cbj I was really depressed hockey-wise.

Had some horrible deals like Marner to Panthers for Knight, Tippet, 1st and a roster player, Nylander for Kaut, Timmins and a 1st, and Lilijgren+2021 1st+Kerfoot for Manson+3rd+kesler.

Thank god I wasn't the GM of the team lol. Dubas really built the team well in the summer of 2020. Honestly, this should be a 3-0 series right now if it were not for the JT injury taking the boys emotions off the game.

I'm really confident in this group and think we can beat basically anyone in the playoffs (well except for the bruins still have trauma from facing them)

The jets were on borrowed time coming into game 1 vs oilers without Ehlers, and PLD, and look what happened.

Leafs will have Foligno back in round 2 and our team will win in 6 games is my prediction. Have to wrap up this series first though. Need to solve Price. 7 goals in 3 games (disregarding empty net) isn't good enough considering how well we have looked. Price isn't a great goalie so we have to find ways to beat him often tonight

The Leafs have a 6-4 record against the Jets this season. Not sure if Folingo played in even a single one of those.games.
