We aren’t overly physical no, but we also haven’t given the Habs much. In two games they have a total of 2 xG at 5v5. In all situations it’s 4.2. They aren’t creating chances period let alone finishing on them.

From what I’ve seen of Caufield so far he seems like someone who’s gonna be an elite finisher, but will need teammates who create space for him. If we keep limiting the space like we have the first two games, I’m not sure how effective he’ll be.

If the refs try to even things out by giving out coincidental minors, a player like Caufield becomes more dangerous. I’m surprised they had him out and Romanov too. Doesn’t matter, we need to just play our game and keep skating take these 2 in Montreal and celebrate back in Toronto on Thursday.

He’s going after Edmundson because Edmundson took a cheap shot at Spez earlier in the game. I also don’t think Simmonds was trying to connect, just trying to intimidate.

I doubt it, Montreal isn't going to win with skill. They're full in on the Bruins strategy of causing so many dirty plays, knowing the majority will not get called and "game management" will even balance the calls out. The shocked Pikachu expressions last game when the refs didn't call fluff calls the other way was funny to see. Habs fans have the lowest IQ. They were whining about the refs calling the mandatory penalty for their GM reviewing the dumbest video review in history.

Who is Edmundson? The Habs have no top end, so the "depth" of their "depth" is to a level I've never heard of them.
