How committed is ownership to winning? Really winning? There is something seriously wrong with Lou if he is just going to sit on this team, are the owners aware how damaging he is to the future of this team? By Lou doing nothing and not being heavy sellers he is going to ensure the Islanders are going to suck for the next decade, do the owners get this and realize that equals horrible ticket sales?
Maybe it makes Roy nauseous to watch a guy handle the puck like a hand grenade?Mayfield? His icetime would tell you Roy is not a fan, unless he's easing him back in due to the injury?
No offense but you may take it that way.Eiserman, Nelson and a first for Rantanen (unsigned)
the Vanek cluster### was almost uniquely terrible asset management in NHL trading history; while the Canes seem to be in a similar position, I'll be they'll get more than the pittance Snow got for VanekCould wind up similar to the Vanek return, depending on the interest. Market for sellers seems to be strong, but Teams know he’s not resigning in Carolina. Interested parties may wait it out until the summer to take a shot.
As said the firing should have happened months ago, he will destroy this franchise for at least a decade if he does nothing so who even cares if he is fired at that pointIf Lou does nothing it’s a fireable offence.
It was a joke man lmao I've been beating the drum for us to sellNo offense but you may take it that way.
Unsigned? Are you kidding?
That doesn’t even address that your hypothetical trade completely tanks Carolina’s season.
How committed is ownership to winning? Really winning?
Would appear it’s really not a mandate, just be competitive seems to be what they desire.
My bad.It was a joke man lmao I've been beating the drum for us to sell
As said, if this is the motivating factor, f them hard, it is inconceivable this team is not re-tooling, so it is either on Lou who is not interested in a re-tool at this stage in his life, or the owners who have their own financial motivation and them looking to sell soon and not having to deal with a few years of a re-tool is as good as anyThey're not, they are definitely going to sell the team after finishing the real estate play.
why does that feel like it SHOULD be true....but isn't.One thing we haven’t considered that actually makes a lot of sense. Maybe Lou is waiting on Kevin Connolly to handle the Brock negotiations and trade?
I just hope Johnny Bananas doesn’t have the phone. Lolwhy does that feel like it SHOULD be true....but isn't.

One has to wonder if Lou is taking orders from the owners and that is no to a rebuild or retool, they want to keep pumping this mediocrity if it means ticket sales will remain fine rather than making the necessary steps to try and win a cup and potentially having a few years of weaker attendance
If nothing, or next to nothing, happens tomorrow, methinks the target of vitriol around here may begin to shift from the old man to the rich man. They're not, they are definitely going to sell the team after finishing the real estate play.
I can’t even discuss this stuff anymore because I just can’t comprehend not trading the UFA’s. I don’t even know what to say anymore. My blood is starting to boil
Is it possible that the owners know that Lou is gone at the end of the season and has been instructed not to make any moves wanting a new GM to make the moves starting at the draft and then FA?
