I’ll be surprised if Whally is in the league 1-2 years from now. Martin. Fasching. Wally. Gauthier. None of them should be in the NHL really. Bottom 6 hasn’t provided much this year. Lou should be looking all over for some cheap penalty killers and dump them on the 4th line

Brutal scenario shaping up with Engvall.

Maybe he just wasn’t really that good to begin with? Look at that draft, it’s a minefield of lost souls.

He wasn’t ruined by the Isles. 3 coaches said ‘not good enough kid.’

Yup, he had many chances.... I just do not think the game clicks in his head quick enough...
Definitely "Not Good Enough"

Have a horrible feeling Boston fixes Wahlly and we look dumb for messing up his development.

Can't fix stupid.....
He just Vapor locks on what he is supposed to do and where he is supposed to go....

He’s just not good. Third liner at his best and sucked since the injury. Not a bad pick either, it was a bad draft.

Ho-Sang, Dal Colle, Bellows, Wahlstrom....

You all knew it was gonna end like this.

Our GM was never gonna find a way to not hold onto him for too long - and then see him exit the organization for nothing.

Sadly, I don't know what you do with the lower lines? For all his warts, I trust Engvall to do more out there than Fasching or Martin.

There have been some hard comments about MacLean, but Cizikas having just 1-1-2 after this many games, often as a 3rd liner, is just off the charts unacceptable. He's on his way to not even getting 10 points as a center getting 12 minutes of icetime per night.

Just sickening.

Cizikas and Martin are examples of loyalty gone wrong

Faschings comments after the playoff exit last year I wanted him gone. Selfish

MacLean, I genuinely don’t understand. Maybe Nepotism 😂. Usually we just get ignored but I am still glad that chart guy put him on blast to “NHL Twitter”

Another ruined prospect by this wonderful organization
I know you're half joking but it is tough to say. I think Wahly has some flaws that transcend the Isle's organizational weakness but, still, it would be interesting to know how a player like him would have fared in a TB or WAS system, or some other org than knows what they are doing player development wise, rather than that shit-show out in Bport.

TBL or WSH would have dumped him while he still had value before the rest of the league find out what he really is.

In some circles, the trade would have been confusing from their perspective only for a few years to pass for the general consensus to learn that Wahlstrom is a "tools but no toolbox" player that you can't win with.

I really think Cizikas sucks and haven't been a fan or his for years. I've been somewhat critical of him around these parts but has seemingly been given a past because of his tenure and history with the organization.

I think Engvall will be back when the cap situation is in a better position, he's not great by any means but I also do trust him more than Fasching or Martin and think he's being used as a scapegoat for Lamoriello/Roy's shortcomings personally.

Agree on Grandpa Casey. He can’t stay on his skates anymore. He’s become the fall down king if Elmont. As for Engvall, I can’t see a way he takes a regular shift for the Islanders as long as Patrick Roy is around.
