Florida makes yet another very solid depth move with Nico Sturm. I would've been more interested in him if he took RH faceoffs, but he was, in fact, the leading faceoff man this year when looking at players with relatively-high usage at the dot. For a 4th round pick, that's tidy work from Florida.

I don't get your obsession with faceoff%, it really isn't that important of a stat for winning and even if you think it is we are 5th in the league. I'd gladly acquire a 2C of any handedness who can consistently put up 60-70 points even if they're at 40% at the dot. Rod would have any center we get improving at the dot anyways.
 
Reilly Smith back to Vegas for Brendan Brisson and a 3rd. Brisson hasn't really hit yet, but solid move for a guy that the Rangers had no business keeping at this point. Rags are handling this deadline smartly by moving some guys and still not really hurting their bubble chances at all.
