Lebrun seems to be the most connected with someone in that organizationWe still don't necessarily know what kind of relationships the current front office setup has with all the insiders. While all info out there has an agenda attached to it, that becomes even more the case if they only get info in our interest from the other parties involved.
I can see them asking for Hoglander, though.
It means what I suspected: Tulsky sees an anchor of a contract down the line. Is it better to wait until the off-season when a lot of cap is available and get a player who isn't signed to a large cap hit through age 37?
Probably.
I never understood the interest or obsession with Hoglander... he's always kinda seemed like a skilled complimentary player who brings little else if he's not scoringI was thinking the same. and his hit is only 1.1 million this year!
then i realized next year starts a 3 x 3 contract, which as recently as last season i would have thought was decent, but he is sitting at 9 points through 43 games this year. i don't know what's happened this year, but oof. maybe he is one of our beloved reclamation projects, but i think it would have to be in the offseason or at least separate from miller.
Miller + another offensive forward?
1. he had really solid 5v5 numbersI never understood the interest or obsession with Hoglander... he's always kinda seemed like a skilled complimentary player who brings little else if he's not scoring
Can you imagine the Hoglander and Stormy marketing? Oh it would be wonderful1. he had really solid 5v5 numbers
2. lacrosse goal
3. pig-adjacent name
Vancouver just had the look of a team who has quit but the individual players would all bounce back elsewhere. So many good pieces that just need a divorce to be happy again.Meanwhile in EDM, the 2nd period just started and the Canucks are down by 4…
Be careful what you wish for, Canucks…Vancouver just had the look of a team who has quit but the individual players would all bounce back elsewhere. So many good pieces that just need a divorce to be happy again.
Just a shout out to Kentucky Fried Movie. What a classic. I wonder how many people watch it these days?Be careful what you wish for, Canucks…
KK getting hot right now is fools gold. He does this once or twice a year where he goes on a heater where you think he's turned a corner just to regress back to terrible play a couple weeks later. With the Canes starting to play well again, the Canes don't have to rush to make a trade. I'm pretty sure, however, that they will eventually. If Kotkaniemi keeps producing and the price for Miller is too high, the Canes can potentially pivot to a smaller add such as Granlund. We will see what happens, of course.
Who is this person? And why should we care about their tweets?

I refuse to believe anyone who has Zach Boychuk as a follower is a serious person.
