If it happens, just screenshot that tweet and post it anytime he tries to say anything.
lol I would use it as an opportunity to call in after every game just to drop that line on him in the postgame whenever Miller scores a goal.

"You know, Adam, I really like the game that Miller provides us. Shame that the trade never happened, for a variety of reasons *long pause*"

One more note about Miller. I don't mind that he's having a rough time when the team is playing like shit. Some people hate to lose more than they love to win, and to be honest, this team could use a little bit of that in the locker room to help light a fire under everyone's ass when they are slumping a bit despite being in a somewhat comfortable playoff position. And its absolutely the mindset you want in the playoffs.

I hope we learn what these conditions would've been, because way too often teams manage to stupidly encumber more than one of their 1st round picks with silly conditions.

I wonder if the condition they are worried about actually makes their next year's pick more at risk. This draft is not good, but next year is really good. If I were the Cannucks I would be asking for a condition like..."If your 1st round pick is between 1 and 34, then next year's pick is unprotected." ;)

So no Legos?

If that deal was offered already Miller would be a hurricane. Way too much not sure why people think it’s gonna be a deal like that Canucks have little leverage they aren’t gonna win the trade and they probably know that. If it’s true and Miller wants eastern United States the market is very limited

Some of the Canes twitter is having a meltdown about bettering the team with adding Miller. This fanbase gets too attached to players for their personality, and that doesn't win hockey games. Even if Miller doesn't get back to 100pts, he's likely good for 25-30gs - 60+ pts. Something that KK will never be. It's not that hard.

With the rising cap, the canucks can afford to retain. So, on their behalf i accept that deal with 20% retention on miller.

At worst, Miller is a legit 2C that solidifies our roster at a cost that is the going rate for 2Cs across the league on a contract that shouldn't be any more of a boat anchor than Jordo's was, despite him being 31.

At best he's a scoring power forward of a 2C that brings out a physical aspect of Svech's game and gives us the hard hitting physical edge we've needed to take that next step in the playoffs and allows us to focus our attention defensively and in net to extend the current contention window for the franchise.

But heaven forbid the twitterati face a sitaution where doe eyed bambi legged KK has to move out to make that work.

It doesn't work cap wise (unless Vancouver is retaining the difference which I highly doubt) but I can see right about that being what Vancouver is looking for from a value standpoint.

I still think KK + Roslovic/Drury + 1st, with maybe a mid prospect add-in. I don't view Arty as a mid prospect. I would think more Heimosalmi if it's a D, Gunler or Suzuki if it's a forward since they're closer to ready for the show.

Yeah. Given the reported Rangers deal, the deal from the Canes in that tweet seems a little rich by comparison.

That's the package for EP + Boeser, otherwise it's just their fantasy/wet dream. I'd be furious if we gave up that package for Miller
EP and Boeser? Really? The amount of wind generated by our front office running to the fax machine to send that in if the Canucks agreed would blow this winter storm to Australia.

Come on now.

KK, Roslo, Suzuki, and a lower pick (2nd or 3rd)?

I could almost see us throwing Suzuki in there as a sweetener. He's still got plenty of upside and should make a NHL roster soon, but for whatever reason I just don't see that happening here and I get the impression we're probably looking to move on

I mean I get it on the Rangers deal if the Nucks have a major mancrush on Chytil, otherwise it's not all that close IMO. Chytil is more offensively gifted than KK but hasn't put it together for a different reason (dude's basically another Kase in terms of concussions), and Lindgren is just outright trash. And I guarantee if the Rangers put conditions on the first it's something ridiculous like the team has to make the conference final or something like that.

Basically breaks down something like this for me:

Chytil > KK (higher upside w much higher injury risk vs safe but bad contract)
Roslo/Drury >>> Lindgren (useful player vs just flat out bad player)
NYR 1st >> CAR 1st but guaranteed 1st > mystery box first (that might not even be a first depending on the conditions)

This is just one of many. This person preaches KK gospel every other day. I'm still waiting for KK to do what this guy says he will.
