The left side is set with Slavin, Orlov, Nikishin. But I wonder if Morrow starts the season in Raleigh if Nikishin comes over.So if they can somehow get Nikishin over here then the left side is set and maybe they re sign pesce and run him burns and morrow on the right side
Yea I think a veteran right handed d man. That right side still looks a bit weak with burns decliningThe left side is set with Slavin, Orlov, Nikishin. But I wonder if Morrow starts the season in Raleigh if Nikishin comes over.
Slavin-Burns
Orlov-Pesce
Nikishin-Morrow??
Orlov-Morrow doesn't seem like a good idea. If you try Slavin-Morrow, that leaves Nikishin-Burns? Ugh.
If Nikishin comes over I think they bring in a veteran RD to pair with him and start Morrow in Chicago.

Aho is pleading the case for Guentzel
He knows the system...
They should know we won't have anyone near what Guentzel is also, 8 year contract and NMC for Guentzel, he gets his security and knows he will be with Aho for the life of the contractAho knows if we don't keep Guentzel, we'll be spending the next 3-4 years looking for his replacement.
Probably from the slash at the end of the Islanders series

I'll leave that one to @sabremike. I've liked what I've seen out of those 2 when they play in PNC, but I have not seen enough of Buffalo to make an informed statement about how their style would mesh.I read a rumor about Necas to Buffalo for either Tage Thompson or Dylan Cozens. They are both in the 7 million range cap wise. Just curious on what folks think of either of those guys.
Thompson would be a pretty great get for Necas. I think we'd be adding. And I don't think he is really available, but fun to think about.I read a rumor about Necas to Buffalo for either Tage Thompson or Dylan Cozens. They are both in the 7 million range cap wise. That has absolutely zero chance of happening.I'll leave that one to @sabremike. I've liked what I've seen out of those 2 when they play in PNC, but I have not seen enough of Buffalo to make an informed statement about how their style would mesh.

My first thought is why would Buffalo do that?I read a rumor about Necas to Buffalo for either Tage Thompson or Dylan Cozens. They are both in the 7 million range cap wise. Just curious on what folks think of either of those guys.
Tage in a heart beat for Necas. My first thought is why would Buffalo do that?
Either player at a known $7.1M cap hit through 2030 might make more sense than dealing with the unknowns of arbitration or a bridge for Necas. But I don't see why Buffalo would unless they are just trying to shake up their locker room.
Plot Twist, Necas is the right handed center.Might be looking to trade Nachos for a RH center. Stank is a righty
Plot counter-Twist: Jarvis is the right handed center.Plot Twist, Necas is the right handed center.
I can't see any way in hell they trade Tage for Necas without a pretty significant add (and even then questionable)...though there is apparently debate about whether he's a reliable center (his FO % is about what Necas is)I read a rumor about Necas to Buffalo for either Tage Thompson or Dylan Cozens. Like when he said that a deal with Rod was all but done, when some pundits said it was taken off the table? When are we going to learn that whatever Waddell says to the media is not to be trusted?
