Carp thinks 50/50 Kreider stays (also thinks we won't make playoffs). Also thinks most likely three goalie rotation stays rest of season since Rangers not trading low on Georgiev.

How good has our 4th line been this year with Smith on it? Worst in the league? Bottom 3? Bottom 5?

It’s not our kids on D or the scoring lines that haven’t delivered.

4th line at the beginning of the year: Haley - Andersson - Smith
4th line recently Lemieux - Howden (McKegg) - Howden (Gauthier)

But yeah, it's all because of Smith (who actually had a specific purpose to be there and also play RD on PK)...

Lmao Carp thinks because Kreider played yesterday and wasn’t scratched that the chances of him signing with the Rangers went from 25 to 50% lol. Guy is clueless

So basically WFAN could have interviewed literally any poster in HFNYR and gotten the same info, and in some cases gotten more/better intel.

Well to be fair if the Rangers were dead set on trading him I would think he would be sitting out all these games similar to Nash

Part of leverage is showing a willingness to re-sign and say that we are in a fighting spot for the playoffs so make the offer worth it. Neither of those things were the case for Nash.

I need more. I can't send him to a rival for a prospect and a likely a late maybe. Somebody has to offer more

You don't know who McMichael is and it shows. Passing this over as a prospect and a likely late maybe, lol.
I don't believe this rumor at all but if MacLellan has McMichael on the table then you do whats needed to make that happen.

McMichael would be nice, future 2nd line center? Him and a conditional if Kreider resigns and maybe that's all - to get it done. They need quality not just stockpiling picks and assets. Those days are over.

Not expecting it which is what is making this deal a tough one. but, hoping the more teams in it forces a GM to cave. Only takes one

If its the Isles you need to start with Wahlstrom+++. God, If that deal were ever to transpire the Rangers are pretty much required to bend them over a barrel.

Life without wine is like hockey without a stick.
Good for the heart

Also, I'm guessing less than 20% chance any of the bigger deals with names with Buchnevich or Skjei happen at the deadline, is that off?
