This Gauthier trade, more than anything, is likely the last shot across the bow for Kreider.
LOVING the tweets about his age lol, if he's over the legal age he's over the hill, I want him gone by the deadline"Basically a bust"- dude on main boards.
Was that a slip?Carp isn't totally wrong, though I think there's a preference to make another move to off-set losing Skjei.
I think people are looking at the points Keane put up down in the AHL only. Defensively he has been a bit of a work in progress and many of his points have come by the way of the PP moving the puck to a guy like Lettieri. Not a bad prospect, just not a slam dunk
But these are all different bucket players. Miller is more than likely going to have another year of college and then probably AHL for a year. Rykov has been hurt most of the year and needs to have a strong finish to even be a consideration. I think that Trouba, DeAngelo, Fox & Lindgren are your locks. Cannot see Hajek currently being on the radar. Skjei is a fairly sizable domino.I hope he’s right. Skjei Hajek Rykov Staal Smith Lindgren Miller can’t all be here next year
Close enough that players will be kept out tomorrow?
B-R-A-D-Y S-K-J-E-IInteresting, but I think I'd be sick to see Fox, DeAngelo, or Lundkvist moved next.
Hajek or Rykov? Fine.
Aka Fast is going before tomorrow and Gauthier is replacing his spotWe'll see.
I think the Rangers might want to close dome deals before then.
Had to wait for a guy like Keane to come around and have the season he did to matchup in a trade.
We'll see.

I do not think that it has anything to do with Kreider. This is first and foremost a move to begin to bring in the type of support players that are needed to offset the skill level players. This Gauthier trade, more than anything, is likely the last shot across the bow for Kreider.
You think we can get a quality forward for Skjei straight up? I do.B-R-A-D-Y S-K-J-E-I
Again, not only does this move has nothing to do with Kreider, it has absolutely nothing to do wit DeAngelo. I do not think that he was ever going anywhere.I think the biggest thing to take on this is Deangelo staying.
It movedYou think we can get a quality forward for Skjei straight up? I do.
Wonder if there’s anything to a Skjei/Trochek swap...

A move to off-set losing Skjei? Calgary? Buchnevich?
...Noah Hanafin come on down!
of course it is, you’re trying to will it into existencethats my thought
