Sounds like he wants depth. I think it makes a difference where Honka plays as to whether or not they’d want Shattenkirk.

Having said that, a lot of teams are interested in the upside potential and understand that's part of the price.

I hear you but in a lot of proposals I've seen it Buchnevich is almost like a throw in. I'm really hoping (and pretty sure is the case) that Gorton and Co. recognize the untapped potential and won't undersell.

Maybe it does. Maybe he'd just be looking for someone to slot behind Honka. I don't know. Regardless, I presented multiple deals where he could obtain a player, whether to slot ahead of Honka or behind him, that will cost him very little in terms of cap and assets. Maybe I'm completely off base, but I think that would be of interest to Dallas.
