Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Nope...but the TB guys were not that exciting . It's becoming a lost art it seems finding quality guys to call a game these days . These forums are where the broadcast team should be hanging out ...get all kinds of tidbits on guys LOL....whether they are all true or not...

last hurrah for Chytil. It's not working at Center.
I'm not saying Barron will be some savior.... but give him a shot
Let Goodrow be the 'responsible' guy to let Panarin and Strome gallivant on offense. Hopefully something similar to what Montreal was doing with their top line last season.

Blues are experiencing some accidental gains, starting Tarasenko on the third line with Robert Thomas at the start of the season. Now, that line with Jordan Kyrou is driving the team’s offense, creating a third top line.
Maybe we should give Panarin a run with Chytil and Gauthier.

It was time for a new thread. Things are heating up. Hajek is being showcased. We finally had a player who was traded in-season score a goal (Tuch). I can feel it in my bones.

I assume it would only be players on AHL contracts, not NHL contracts.
I still think the likely targets continue to be Jarnkrok, Donskoi, and Lehkonen types.
I don’t think drury is going to trade for anyone that costs a ton of assets or is signed for more then 2 years, unless there is a blockbuster deal for a young C I’m missing....
I do think we do something huge this offseason or at the draft this year....

I thought that’s what he said so I go on hockeydb to see if he was traded to the Boltz and then I said ah, maybe I heard wrong and he did say Reilly Nash.

You’re right that the Blues’ depth is much better than ours.
But if not for the trade request, Tarasenko would have started the season on the top line with OReilly, or at least on the second line with Schenn, behind Perron. Not on the third line with Thomas.
It is an accident that what was their third line is now driving the team’s offense. They never planned for or expected that.

I honestly do not understand this logic some are discussing. Take one of our better players and a goal producer and move him on a line with 2 players who continue to prove they are not very good. End result you make one of our most productive players unproductive. Lunacy. Better option is to go find better players to replace Chytil and Gauthier whether in house or via trade.
What are our “in house” players better than Chytil and Gauthier and why aren’t we already playing them?
Who are you trading to get better players than Chytil and Gauthier? How will those subtractions affect team depth? How are you fitting those acquisitions under the cap?

The game today shows strome can be effective without panarin, and zib NEEDS to accept he is a driver on this team and not a secondary player to panarin.
It is not something I would hold my breath for, but I think Vinnie Hinestroza actually would help us more than most other rentals.
