Same reason why Trouba, Lindgren and Goodrow were moved. Can you guess? But if we’re competing, why move Kreider? Makes no sense as usual with this team
Toews was one of those who admitted he had no idea how escrow works and why his pay cheque looked the way it did. He is not the brightest bulb of the bunchAfter reading about his healing trip to India I’m not convinced he’s remotely smart enough to know if he were 100%.
Signing him makes literally no sense.
Carter Hart was an up and coming goalie for the Flyers who performed extremely well when called up. Dube's name was familiar, but I can't recall anything about him. Cal is Adam Foote's son. Never heard of Formenton and don't remember McLeod.Yes...it was a good read . I have not really followed the case and I had figured that they were all guilty.....but it looks like they will be acquitted and if so all UFA 's I assume ? So why not....MacLeod is a heck of a player and was a thorn in the Rangers side a lot . I'm not familiar with the other guys .

Re Hart, what I meant was that he played well when he first came to Flyers which resulted in the starting job and the contract.Really? McLeod was the best besides Hart and played for NJ, I’d figure any Rangers fan would remember him. Tough to play against, very fast, feisty 3C with some hands. A more physical version of his brother in Buffalo. Formenton also looked promising in Ottawa. Similar player to McLeod. Hart started over 220 games for Philly… not sure what you mean by played well when called up. He had already established himself as their starter with multi-year 6M contract and had some minor injury problems.
They're going to get off. It's disgusting. Bleep everyone of those players.LOL...at this stage we might be better off to offer Michael MacLeod a deal once he is found not guilty in the court case . Quite the read yesterday in the Windsor Star on the case . Looks like they will all get not Guilty verdicts .
Not for nothing, but Zibanejad has out scored Panarin by 11 points in the playoffs during the time where they’re both been on the team. When the chips have been down, 10 has been a way bigger issue than 93.
McDavid outscored Panarin’s 3 NYR runs by 10 last year alone.
Lastly, if you don’t think McDavid or Draisaitl ever go into the “hard” areas id suggest you watch a bit closer. They’re 3rd and 4th all time in playoff points per game, you don’t do that by strictly sticking to the outside.

And yet you can count on one finger the better skaters than Kreider on this team. The gap between the vets and everybody else was pretty large. Vets took a giant step back and the rest of them didn't accumulatively make up for it with a step forward.
Panarin doesn't skate like he did 2 years ago.
Zibanejad doesn't skate like he did 2 years ago.
Kreider doesn't skate like he did 2 years ago.
And the man-on-man system probably made it even worse for them.
Somebody has to step up. Whether that's somebody new. Somebody coming back from trading a vet or somebody in our system.
That says more about the rest of the team than it does KreiderAnd yet you can count on one finger the better skaters than Kreider on this team.
Deconstructive, for the purposes of salary. What do we think a Kreider trade would look like anyway?
Upside younger player that hasn't been able to break through with a later pick, or meh player that cost less with a 2nd or 3rd attached depending on the playerWhat do we think a Kreider trade would look like anyway?

Players tend to change their attitude over time too. Regardless of coaching.People say Knoblauch has Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Other coaches failed to win with both players in Edmonton.
I agree that he's keeping the pick, but he just signed a long extension. He's not fighting for his job, as much as he should be or we wish he were.Nope but the odds Drury throws the towel in and accepts that the team will be worse next year are almost zero. No matter how much we want to rebuild (I'm also in this camp), he's fighting for his job and Dolan doesn't believe in rebuilds.
