Staple has bruins fans thinking they can get Othmann and Kreider for Frederic.

lol they’re going to be disappointed.

Nice job, Arthur!! Stick to the Islanders or pull your head out of your ass.

Bruins fans are dumb because they dont have the cap room for that even if it was a trade the Rangers would make.

Kreider scratched for USA - back pain or just ass?
I don't think it was ever in the plans that he would start. The only guy he has a chance over is Brock Nelson, who is certainly having a better season, but let's be honest, the only guy peak Kreider would have a chance over is Brock Nelson. It's Team USA.

He's just there because he can be a role player if he has to. These national teams always take guys who are reasonably willing to be 4th liners despite being "star" players. That's why Canada took Cirelli. And like, no offense to Cirelli, but it's f***ing Canada. They had their pick of guys with more points - Schiefele, Bedard, Vilardi, Suzuki, Strome, Duchene.

If this happened any of the last 3 years, Kreider would be playing and netfront on PP1.

Lafreniere, Othmann, Zibanejad, 2026 1st for Brady Tkachuk and Perron this summer after Ottawa misses the playoffs and we make it.

Yeah Cirelli is picked to be a role player but also because he plays for Jon Cooper.

Vince has returned from diaper duty. He was complaining about the Rangers trading away so many draft picks and players like Kakko and Chytil will result in the Rangers having to pursue players in free agency and trades to fill the holes. Did Vince just realize these factors because I remember him supporting the trades Drury made for the rentals to win right away? Does that ever really work?

Drury has emptied the draft pick vault with nothing to show for it.

Vince mentioned Gabe Perreault possibly playing for the Rangers this season. Staple and Baugh also mentioned that could happen. The Rangers would start the ELC this season. Maybe that's part of the deal to turn pro. The Flyers and Gauthier problems started when the interim regime lead by Briere told him to wait a few months before turning pro after the previous Fletcher regime apparently had an understanding with the player turning pro as soon as BC was finished playing. Where will Perreault play? LW is still overcrowded. Kreider is still here.

Perreault and Othmann would help replace the void of losing Kakko and Chytil. They need meaningful minutes. Even a player like Sykoa. The Rangers need a player like him. Good two way player. He can skate. His offensive game is getting better in his 2nd AHL season. Third line winger. That's what you are looking for.

Cirelli is a very good role player. I would trade Kreider for Cirelli. TB hangs up the phone.

Dobson has new reps for his next contract. Lou doesn't use the NHL GM group chat

Watch the Blues

Theodore will be out until start of the playoffs. Week to week is nine week to weeks. Theodore was seen wearing a cast on his hand/arm

Brock Nelson. Can the Islanders win while he still game left in his body? Nelson is asking that question. Nelson is 32 years old.

Marchand wants to stay in Boston

Kings are looking for a right handed shooting scoring forward. The Rangers have someone fitting that description.

Watch the two days next week between the games on Sunday and the final on Thursday. The players report on the 18th. Tuesday and Wednesday for trades.

Perreault has played both wings. He was listed as a RW when we drafted him and is still listed as a RW everywhere.

Even if he was a LW, he can learn to play RW. It's not that hard. I really wish people would stop making such of fuss about it.

It's likely that both Panarin and Kreider will be gone in the near future. Both are older and both have contracts running out. So, there will be a spot on the left side for Perreault if they want him to play there.

We have enough issues already. We don't need to invent new ones.

condolences

It was a while back in 2017.....Dec. 24 actually and she was 95 and she wanted to leave......which is to say she was a believer and she wanted to be with my dad. Not that I was happy about it but sometimes these things in perspective are a relief for everyone involved. I am going over to the cemetery today because it would be my Dad's 102nd birthday. Some irony that he was born on Valentine's Day.

For my part with my Mom I got a good idea of caregiving in a personal way, elderly care by nursing and assisted living homes and a good look at how a couple different hospitals work. Demystified some things and there's been further demystification since. We're all heading this way unless something unforeseen happens or we do something ourselves to cut it short. Dying happens to be the most democratic of things.

Yeah I don't know if I'd want to trade Kreider for Cirelli. I'd think I'd want to go younger assets. If you're looking at Chris as a candidate to bounce back and I think there's a pretty good chance that's going to happen he can help your power play, score a bunch of goals, pk pretty well and has been a really good playoff producer with three runs lefts on a pretty friendly cap hit as long as he can keep the goals and points around 30/50 a year and he might do a lot better than that. That's a potentially great gamble to take for a playoff quality team.

Playoff teams pick later so their draft picks don't carry the same weight. So Kreider should bring us 2/3 very good young assets if we move him quite possibly even a young roster player. Someone was speculating a Dallas/Panarin deal a couple days ago---with a 1st and Mavrik Bourque......to me that's a possible Kreider (Panarin should get more) package.

Yeah I don't know if I'd want to trade Kreider for Cirelli. I'd think I'd want to go younger assets.
If Tampa was dumb enough to do that deal, I'd do it without hesitation. Cirelli is 6 years younger and has 6 years left on his contract at a lower cap hit (6.25 mil vs 6.5 for Kreider). Cirelli is also a good defensive center.

Imagine having Miller, Cirelli, Trocheck down the middle. There's no chance of that happening, unfortunately.
