f*** the Norris, Fox should be up for the Nobel Prize.

The salary value is wild. They have Lindgren as a $1 million dollar player. $1 million. That’s it. And this guy is crying to the Media he wants to stay in NY… my guy you have been so putrid and a net negative that i would take that $1 million and find someone way better in the bargain bin. How much is Mikkola making? There are more players out there like that who can be a serviceable #4/#5 Defensemen at a reasonable cost than many realize. Oh and then add in how much better this team would be if they had even just a 10% upgrade getting the minutes Lindgren does we would be in a playoff spot.

Nope lol.

But if he is, trade Lafreniere for Harley straight up

Panarin-Miller-Zib
Cuylle-Trocheck-Perreault
Berard-X-Kaliyev/Othmann
4th line

Harley-Fox
Miller-Borgen
Vaakanainen-Schneider

Now that’s a defense.
Would Dallas make that deal?

Harley is a stud on a thin blueline and that team is overcrowded with forwards as it is.

That middle six is really really flimsy too. Cuylle is the only one with any NHL success and even he's got something to prove still about his upside, just being honest.

I don't know why the media is giving all these crying bozo's a platform. Don't like your trajectory? Do something about it on the ice. Period.

I don’t think they would but it would solve a lot of problems. I don’t disagree with your assessment, but they would have, assuming Kreider is moved as well, something like 12M in cap space to add. Also thought about adding Schneider to the deal and perhaps the Rangers get back someone like Bourque. Don’t think we could get Stankoven.

Is there a Will Borgen equivalent of a 3C out there? Someone we could trade for and extend at a fair price?

Frederic I like but seems like he will be expensive. Jake Evans has been solid for Montreal. Gourde's best years are behind him id imagine.

Frederic kind of sucks and Gourde has a ton of miles on him.

Evans is good but will be expensive.

Frédéric has been terrible this year and Bruins fans ripped him apart a few weeks ago on their board. I would love for him to be a buy low candidate as I think he could bounce back. I wouldn't pay a lot for him though and wouldn't give him a huge contract.

I like Jake Evans. Maybe trade Smith and Lindgren to WPG for Kupari, Heinola and a 2nd. We could use a Evans/Kupari type to match up with the smaller/faster centers in the league, plus Kupari can play RW. Just doesn’t give you much offense. WPG needs a penalty killer bad.

As long as we don’t pay out the ass like Tampa did in a similar situation with Jeannott. Tommy Novak is another guy who has been a target in the past. Nashville would probably rather dump ROR. I’ve always liked him but I’m assuming he is cooked at this point.

someone like carrick who is a bit more productive offensively would be perfect

Naahville calls and says ROR is yours for whichever 1st vancouver (now pitt) doesnt get. You doing it? I am

Can he still play? If he can he does seem perfect.

??????? I'm the least prospect hugging guy here but under no circumstances do you do that for the oldest 33 year old in the league. Guy has more miles on him than a 2002 Toyota Carolla.

This is pretty good, to be honest. Kupari is still a complete donut of a player though.

Probably achievable. Those types tend to be rather inconsistent, 17 goals one year, 8 the next, and if they’re physical and older, tend to get hurt a lot.

Ottawa is basically in IMO so we should pump the breaks on any more buying deals this year.
There is basically one spot open for like 5 teams. Unless you think Tampa will drop.

I think giving up a valuable first already with basically no 2nd rounders in what seems forever we should hold off on trading any more picks/prospects.

Radek Faksa is in his walk year with the Blues. 31, so not as old as Gourde and ROR and not as many miles as ROR. $3.25M cap hit. He might be able to still pop in a couple of goals with help.
