Mika and K’Andre. The mental midgets need to go one way or another.

Miller looked like a potential top 20 D in the NHL a few years ago. Hopefully, some foolish GM out there pays up for that potential.

Mika just needs to go one way or another.

CK had a ppg, but that is not the most important part: when Rs did NOT have zib on the pp, they all looked great!

pp aside, eye test is proving I was right
Kreider trying to help zib is deadly bad

not only am I done w/Mika
I will tm tweak my prop to get him outta ere even faster

Kreider looked fine tonight. Arthur Staple is pushing his Kreider is hurt theory. He looked fine ripping that shot past Bob. Kreider should have had another goal in the third period. He engaged Tkachuk in physical confrontations. Florida couldn't buy a goal against Montreal and they hung 4 on the Rangers. Montreal swept the Florida teams and the Rangers lost both Florida games.

Of all the crappy beat writers we’ve had over the years, Staple is hands down the worst in my book. The guy has no clue when it comes to player evaluation and mock trades.

I told all of you guys kakko is easily a 30/30 guy somewhere else. Maybe we should have f***ing played him…
Yeah, I feared the same. The problem is we don’t have the speed to complement his game. We have too many slow players already. He needs to play with quicker players that can get in on the forecheck and win possession.

It’s the same reason why signing Rantanen would never work here. He’s too slow for the Rangers. He should stay in Colorado where all of the team’s speedy players open up time and space for Rantanen since he can’t conjure it himself.

Lafreniere would blow up elsewhere for the same reason. We don’t have a good mix of players on this team.

Please trade K'Andre for a young C ASAP. Cozens, McTavish, Thompson, Larkin. Take advantage of a desperate team for once. We all know they guys who are really untouchable on this team.

Kreider played really well tonight @Mike in Houston . Staple is such a hack.

For someone that has followed zero draft coverage, how does the top 5 or 10 of this upcoming draft shape up? Is Hagens a consensus 1? Strong class compared to other years? Where are the separations or drop offs after picks as of now?

Mediocre compared to previous years. Hagens is not consensus 1, but is probably(?) consensus top C. I have it as a Top 4 (Schaefer, Hagens, Martone, Misa), then some combo of Frondell, Eklund, McQueen. Then a dropoff from there. Schaefer is the 1 D in the class by a mile imo

I really hope he does explode.

We all know what Borgen is bringing. People saying he will bring back a first. I’m seeing a very low and shitty 2nd at best and I have serious doubts about that.

We will walk away with nothing for Kak in the end. All absolute crapshoot picks. I will be over the moon if any of these picks become anything remotely interesting in the NHL.

I want what I want
Dolan isn't really a big hockey guy. He is much more in to the Knicks who have put together a pretty talented team. I'm not a huge Dolan fan I do not think he is a big Rangers factor. Not when we are really bad. Not when we appear in 2 of the last conference finals. For the most part MSG/Dolan sign the checks. The rest is on management and the players.
Yes Nick, there is indeed varying accounts on how much input/edicts he puts into the Rangers specifically but in the end, the record is the record. As they say, results are what matter in the end. I think 57 combined seasons is enough of a track record. Zero championships. Over 50% non-playoff seasons in two leagues where half the teams make the playoffs.

I agree with you on management and players of course but don't forget Dolan is the one who puts the management in place. Man that seems like a talent that most NY sports owners do not have. I will admit, while ultimately the jury is still out, it seems he finally found a competent management team with the Knicks and has reportedly taken a step back from meddling with that team.

I think I realized some time ago that this season was lost. People still want to hope in this team. They still want to see wins and I imagine now and again there will be some......but it's like scratching an itch. Any wins won't make a difference except maybe put us in a worse draft position. If I were to give advice to Rangers fans I'd stay away from the main boards---whether you think there's sympathy there or not basically opposing fans are enjoying this and either are laughing out loud about it and/or handing out false sympathy. Parading whatever anguish you have before them is just drama that's not going to lead to you feeling any better. Better to ignore them and stoically take the blows that come with a lost season and leave it at that.

Things sometimes change fast and if the Rangers can keep a framework of a team and make good offseason additions getting a restart next season might make a lot of difference. This might be the worst year of the 53 I've been around for as far as falling apart disappointment but there have been some years that are at least somewhat comparable. For instance the 92-93 season when nobody looked good---not Leetch, not Richter, not Messier.

We'll need to jettison some players but I wouldn't get rid of everyone. I think we need to dump Drury and the coaching staff or at least Housley. Team needs more defensive structure. We're seeing that even with a top goalie you can't depend him to save the team's bacon night after night. Igor will be better I believe with a sound defense in front of him.

Anyway we've moved up to No. 7 on tankathon.

This is absolutely blowing up in Vancouver right now by the way.
Looks like Pettersson is available
Allvin went on blast basically, Not sure what you guys would offer, or how seriously you would be interested, He would obviously need a Haul.
But, just thought I would share and get your guys opinions!
Not everyday a 90+ Center with great Defensive abilities becomes available.

Thoughts?
