Speculation: Roster Building thread: Part XIX (Thanks, Sam)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Torts will drive everyone who doesn't work here into the press box and out of the organization.

Even Mika won't be happy sitting around making 8.5 million eating cheetos.

Also who can say they haven't missed fearing for our reporters lives every press conference?
I can see Mollie Walker doing a TikTok of how mean Torts was to her lmfao

Artemi Panarin($11,642,857) to the TB for Anthony Cirelli($6.25M) and Oliver Bjorkstrand($5.4M). $11.65M combined. The money is a match. Panarin would waive to play in Florida and with Nikita Kucherov. Cirelli will be 28 this July. He has six more seasons remaining. Would TB move Cirelli? Bjorkstrand can be moved in another deal. TB traded every draft pick for Tanner Jeannot, Yanni Gourde and Bjorkstrand.

I can't imagine Tampa would go for that.

Thank f***ing god. Save Lavi from himself. No longer have to waste a roster spot on this clown who's only good for making sure we go shorthanded 1-2 more times per game.
They score more SH than on the PP so maybe he has a useful plan why he uses Rempe. Call up Roobroeck or Chmelar who are better players just as physical

You’re the guy rooting for kreider to get more ice time huh?
Nope. I'm the guy who actually knows what Chris is going through physically and desperately hoping he gets shut down for the season, as he should have been 3 months ago. But I sure as shit haven't turned on a guy who has worked his ass off for this team over the past 10 season, in particular the last 5 or so, just because his body is barely capable of letting him play.

Cam York benched by the flyers. What’s his story? Young and a left shot at least. Drury has been sniffing around the flyers for awhile. York is on the smaller side but the Rangers desperately need a second puckmover and PP2 guy. 5’11 doesn’t mean “bad defender” automatically. I just don’t want a taller Zac Jones.

The three days he spent with Laraque didn't help. Maybe this offseason he works with John Scott.

Shouldn’t have to fight, org has failed him. He’s a better player when he’s on the ice. Hopefully we can stiffen up to the point that it’s no longer Rempe’s job. I’m a JT fan but zero fights since he’s been here is questionable with the team scuffling. Looks like pretty much everyone on the roster is looking to the summer.

Surely Kreider has some agency in this, and can pull himself from the lineup? I imagine the PA would have a field day if he reported he was being pushed to play through serious injury
