Thanks for the compelling response.

Stud top 4 d just oozing there.

I would deal kreider for bischel and a 2nd. I like him that much.

Some have been begging for that for years, while others keep watching regular season hockey and allowed it to blind them on what was needed for the last two rounds. Regardless this group wasnt getting it done and it's good they are moving on.
That isn't saying much though is it? Like saying "I would trade Kreider for Brandt Clarke" and any other stud defensemen in the league?

I'm not sure that most people all see bischel the way I do. Are you someone that sees him as Brandt Clarke? If not then your comment is hollow

I'd love it if that was the response. "IT'S PRIVATE" is a clear statement of no-access-to-information. Like when a US official says "That's classified." Even in your example of "That’s absurd but it’s none of your f***ing business.” the response starts with a very strong and clear denial by calling the idea absurd. Tro's response non-denial. Imagine if a NSA official was asked if we killed a Russian official and responded "Now why would we go and do that?" instead of "We don't comment on operations" or "Information regarding any ideated, potential, or actual international operations is classified." It's the same human psychology except the NSA official has training.

Actually I read the audiobook 50 laws of power narrated by 50 Cent. But can't say I can name any of the laws. It's just soaked in subconsciously I guess.
“It’s private” would be ideal. Hahaha. Can’t get more direct than that. Though I’m sure some of us would still be saying he was hiding “the awful truth about Drury” and now also that he’s mean and rude!
He obviously didn’t use the same exact phrase I took as his meaning. Hahaha. Look all I’m saying is it’s futile to try to draw definitive conclusions from this one statement. The more expansive quotes reenforce my inference. But still… You are free to believe otherwise, I’m guessing neither of us will ever know. Have great night!

Arthur Staple wrote Chris Kreider wants to retire as a Ranger. Really? He should retire now and give up the last two seasons of his contract. Trade this guy. He is blocking progress.

You can see how some in the local media are carrying water for the veterans. Chris Johnston has Kreider as #1 on the Athletic trade board, but Staple says he wont have a market and wants to retire a Ranger? Sounds like Arthur saying exactly what Kreider wants out there.

I love speculating wildly as you all know, but Kreider really would help himself by acknowledging how shit he's been. All we've heard is a couple F bombs and that his back hurts. He is still among the highest ice-time among forwards routinely so he can't be that badly hurt. The team needs an leader and yet again their longest tenured players are allowing guys who have been here 10 minutes to take over those duties.

As a side note, Lindgren to Tampa now that Moser is out long term is an interesting one from Staple.

Lindgren out means they need a LD in as they won’t give up yet

They need to basically have one trade pending then make another

Matheson in Montreal ?
Ferraro in SJ?
Guys with one year left after this season

Yes to both guys. I think they are good fits for our needs. I could see a Lindgren for Samuelsson from Buffalo trade. Sabres get a #warrior with playoff experience and the Rangers take on a young guy signed at Lindgren's number for a few more years.

The sharks have a few guys the Rangers should have their eyes on. Ferraro is a bit of a staple thre, I think SJ wants him as part of the solution. But Liljegren has shown flashes and Walman is having a great year. 3 LD with 1 year left on their deals with cap hits in the 3s. Maybe you throw in Reilly Smith to sweeten the pot. SJ has shown they want vets to help their young stars.

Kakko is gone. Laf is the new scapegoat. We need more out of him. He's been a p***y and a nerd out there. Not acceptable for him to only play well when it's fun and the team is winning. Need to see him transmute some frustration into hard play.

Kakko was never the scapegoat. Trouba was. And now Lindgren is. Kakko got traded because it was a better situation for all a parties.
