Am I the only one who doesn't want JT Back?

Maybe it's because retread Rangers never seem to work out. I dunno.

I don't see us getting the JT Miller of the past few yrs here in NY
i dont think theres a lot of people who really want him

personally i think it’d be the most on brand, pathetic move possible and would signal the official start of Dark Ages part 2. when does bringing dudes back like this EVER work out?

I was one of those weirdos who quite liked Miller during his time here and didn't really understand why this board didn't like him, but the only way I'd want him back is if it was a straight swap for Mika. And even then I'm only doing it because I think Miller's skillset is better suited to 3rd line duties as they both age out. Plus ideally he'd be more open to waiving his NMC again once here, so we could actually turn him into an asset or 2.

a swap for mika is the one instance i could swallow bringing back miller

even then it’d still feel kinda icky

and the truly sad thing is that Miller's 56 point season here is 1 point behind Laf and Stepan for most points by a Rangers forward pick in forever :help:

"I think the last thing that we're gonna do is complain about our general manager." was the quote. I play A LOT of social deduction and deception games. You get hyper aware of how people phrase things to tell half truths. Many people like to make these type of statements to avoid having to tell a lie. Things like "IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK?" or "WHY would I do that?" trying to shift the justification off of them.
And sometimes it just means “That’s absurd but it’s none of your f***ing business.”

I know that people who are asked about something specific have no problem clearly denying those specifics actions or accusations when they have no truth or nothing to hide. To avoid the truth, people tend to ask questions instead of giving direct answers.
Yeah everything in a team meeting of this sort is being “hidden.” What’s said in a team meeting STAYS in a team meeting. You don’t go confirming or denying those kinds of questions, people start trying to deduce through process of elimination. ITS PRIVATE. THATS WHAT A CLOSED DOOR MEETING IS SUPPOSED TO BE.

If the Rangers acquired him, he'd revert back to the NYR Miller version of 0.50 pts per game instead of the 1.01 points per game version that he's been elsewhere.
