The idea of trading Fox isn’t dumb in and of itself. It’s only dumb because the only worthwhile targets would be unavailable, but if that weren’t the case I would trade him for MacAvoy ++ or a similar culture shifting move within that vein.
It isn't dumb. You are right. The word hasn't been invented yet for how stupid/awful/dumb/idiotic trading Adam Fox would be.

If they are part of the rotten culture of the club I don't give a crap about their fancy stats. I'm not saying Fox is, but I am not saying he isn't part of the problem either because I don't know that room.
Pretty much. I’m a jew from LI, I’m contractually obligated to root for Fox so it’s not like I WANT to trade him. Just don’t think it’s dumb if the right player(s) were coming back and being smug and obtuse about that isn’t particularly flattering imo.

Lol. This is the root of the New York Rangers entitlement problem right here.

"Oh we finally have a star let's treat him special." "Yeah, let's put him on a pedestal and give him everything he snaps his fingers over".

A little later:

Dang, why do we have an entitlement problem? Let's kick some kids arse hard.

I know that Ed was projecting his Zegras injury angst in his long post earlier that includes a dissertation on Fox. But he isn't wrong in reminding us that Fox forced his way to this team. His body language sucks. I really do feel that entitlement and expecting things to work for him is part of his personality.

He is the Michael Jordan of throwing his head back in frustration.

Idk if that’s related but I’ve been holding onto that one for a while.
