Based on what, him not waiving Trouba? What does waiving him accomplish if a trade is in the works? Please. Enlighten all of us.

Why would anyone team trade for a guy that checked out overpaid and not what he used to be? Did they watch him recently. He'd hurt the team on the ice more than help it. I'll believe it when it happens

Teams being ruled out (CBJ/OTT) and a new team (ANA) added into the mix on top of BUF and DET, implies a bidding war no? Maybe Im being naive.

SJ and Columbus would both take him for free if waived. NYR is not attaching a pick.
