Islanders are playing Buffalo tonight. Pittsburgh is playing Philadelphia. Montreal is playing Columbus. The Rangers are bunched in with those teams. Montreal and Columbus are right behind them. I am rooting for an Islanders win and three point games in the other two games. This Rangers team is currently 10 points out with 1 more game played than the next best team in the Metro and 5 points out of a tie for the last WildCard spot with 3 teams to jump there at Christmas. It's time to bite the bullet, rebuild as needed and get the correct pieces moving forward.
He does have a few months to trade said goalie before the NMC kicks in. You know, to get a hat trick of NMC circumvention. Could be a haul but I really doubt Drury does that. The fact that the GM just signed a 29 year old goalie to a market resetting 8 year contract that hasn’t even kicked in yet is just the complete chef’s kiss
More dysfunction. Every hand is on the steering wheel pointing this ship towards disaster. Owner, Gm, coaching staff, and players. The fact that the GM just signed a 29 year old goalie to a market resetting 8 year contract that hasn’t even kicked in yet is just the complete chef’s kiss
you can't buy out an owner with them. Can we get 2-3 compliance buyouts in the next CBA please?
They should feed Drury to the homeless outside of penn station.
Blast Laviolette and Housley to Siberia. Retain Muse. Give Peca the interim tag for the rest of the season. Long overdue to break-up the soft, perimeter, winless core of Mika / Kreider / Fox / Panarin.
So get rid of CK and bring him back in 5 years as part of management? I'm good with thatFun fact is that Kreider actually has a lower average annual salary than Drury when signed for us almost 20 years ago. Kreider also has a 50 goal season and excellent postseason production while Drury has a measly 4 postseason goals for us.
