Labeling it means nothing. The Rangers have every intention of making the playoffs next year. They didn’t sign Igor, Fox and Laf forever to trade everyone. Changes will be good for this team, idk why everyone acts like the sky is falling.
Got it, I’m just saying they’re rebuilding or retooling, they can’t keep this group together. At this point I want changes of some kind I can’t keep doing this to myself

Kreider Mika Kakko Lindgren smith. Get some big D and veteran forwards with speed who play the right way and the Rangers will be every bit the cup contender.

The heavy lift is Zibanejad but Drury is already playing mind games with him by mentioning Kreider in a trade. Soon it will be reality and Mika will need to decide if he wants to play hockey or leave

Sad to see Kreider go out like this. Never should have got his jersey

Honestly if they really want to close the door on this era the big moves need to be Kreider and Panarin. Their big money rebuild nuking moves were those 2 and Trouba. Trouba is gone.

The obvious moves are obvious (Lindgren, Smith, Kakko) but those are minor.

If you want to make wholesale changes, you need to move wholesale names.

Im also 90000% sure Kreider will go back to being Kreider if he's moved.

Rupp's saying that Drury's mail to the other GMs that put Kreider on the open for trade list was the bomb that set off this whole thing because it was seen as manipulative. It was the cherry on the cake on top of other questionable moves made by Drury. He then goes on to say that Lavi and the coaches have no handle on the situation and are making bad things worse. With management and coaches lacking in ability the players will not be able to bootstrap themselves out of this situation, especially not with the constant downward flow of BS coming their way.

This is basically what I've been (more or less) manically posting over and over again.
Drury apparently said he would listen on both Trouba and Kreider. Trouba is gone. On what Rupp is basing his assumption that Drury won’t trade Kreider is anybody’s guess because he is pulling that straight out of his ass. He has no more idea than any of us. It’s pure speculation. And since he’s basing the rest of his assumptions and logic on that being manipulative… basically the whole thing is pulled out of his ass.

Trade Kreider Kakko Lindgren for a few defenseman who don’t suck, and get Othmann healthy and maybe the new faces spark them. The league is as mediocre as it’s been in years.

I know we can't keep harping on about it it, but not getting a game breaking talent with #1OA pick, plus barely getting an average NHLer out of picks 2, 7 and 9 really hurts anything you are trying to build
