But athleticism! Athleticism is like the crypto currency of NHL players.unfortunately it wil take more
Mobile pivots w/size and ability, young, cost controlled, are expensive
I have never gone into any of those bars by MSG. When I still lived in NY, I always left the game, went back to my hood and drank at Vazac's, 9C, Ace, or Lakeside Lounge. If you've ever been to Mustang, Jacks, etc, you'll quickly realize that while you have some passionate fans drinking, you'll also have a lot of tools.
Move Zib to RW or move Chytil. to LW for the 20 games he plays.Over who? Zibanejad, Trocheck or Chytil?

If I remember right, their PP is bottom 3rd this year. Kreider might be a consideration.I don't get all of the smoke about Dallas.
Seguin is a depth player for them at this point. They're not exactly in scramble mode.
They're also not a good trade partner. They wouldn't move anything I'm particularly interested in. It's bananas that people are suggesting Wyatt Johnston. The only piece we have that returns Wyatt Johnston is Adam Fox, and obviously f***ing not.
The only move I could kind of see is Kreider for Bourque, but there's moves I could kind of see with every team in the league. Dallas isn't particularly on the front-burner because like their 9th best forward got hurt.
It would be like Reilly Smith getting hurt and the Rangers trading Cuylle to replace him.
Lakeside was a great bar with a great juke box in the early-mid 2000s. RIPI have never gone into any of those bars by MSG. When I still lived in NY, I always left the game, went back to my hood and drank at Vazac's, 9C, Ace, or Lakeside Lounge.
It was one game, Zibanejad has been ass for a year. They did call up Rempe recently. They got embarrassed and he took a really dumb penalty.

Kreider isn’t a leader. Have you not noticed that in all these years!?If Trouba and/or Lindgren are on the roster Friday, they will continue to get boatraced. The team has quit on each other trying to stick it to Drury. I get that it's Christmas time, but they need to deal with the Trouba situation before the season gets even more out of hand. I find it hard to believe no one wants him. Retain a million or so and deal him to a team thats not on his list. Its addition by subtraction.
Once he's gone, slap the C on Kreider whether he likes it or not. I appreciated his F-bombs in the locker room after the Devils game, as opposed to Trouba's walking dead impression. Its not enough but its something. They need someone to step up and be a leader right now and it's gotta be Chris. Time to up the intensity and killer instinct buddy. Now or never. The season is absolutely salvageable.
troch has played plenty of wing too. there's absolutely no issue with bringing in multiple CMove Zib to RW or move Chytil. to LW for the 20 games he plays.
I've been passing on the Stars' posts to a friend who's a Dallas fan....here's his take on what we've commented on (especially Bourque):If I remember right, their PP is bottom 3rd this year. Kreider might be a consideration.

If that's the case then Drury is admitting defeat this season.I wouldn't expect anything until the deadline. It's just the media making an 11 out of a 3.

I don't think this squad makes the playoffs with this toxicity.
I honestly do not believe Drury expected this squad to do anything extraordinary -- especially since he could only (once again) make changes on the fringes. As someone suggested, he's been looking forward to this coming off season where he will finally have some flexibility to move things around...personally, I think he'll be as ruthless as he was with Goodrow. If that's the case then Drury is admitting defeat this season.

At the least, call up Rempe, inject some life into this group, maybe they play a little bigger with him around.
DO
SOMETHING

I think Drury has his hands tied until the deadline. Hard to move big cap pieces that all have multiple years. If that's the case then Drury is admitting defeat this season.

You should spend less time posting charts and more time watching the games.Reading comprehension is not your strongest suit.
The stat card from the Devils game was to show that albeit Mika is still bad he is not the worst skater on the team.
I even said in that same post that Mika IS still playing like shit.
I wish. Love the player. But….. i don’t hear it in his interviews or see it in his play. Longevity doesn’t make a leader. I think Laf has potential in 3-4 years. Other than that, we have a coid of leadership- hence the trainwreck. Now is his chance. Not for nothing but if he is playing hurt, thats more leadership than Trouba has shown through this stretch. And it was at least nice to hear one of the players drop an f bomb after Monday night.
Trouba isn't going anywhere until the off season -- unless we get a trade offer we can't refuse. I honestly do not see them waiving him during the season. No, the team is much more exciting with a washed Jimmy Vesey doing nothing on the 4th line. The Rangers dont have strong enough leadership on the ice to handle Rempe. Avery was at his best when he had Shanahan and Jagr in the room. Rempe wasnt the reason we lost to St. Louis. And penalties happen, at least Rempe gets the team and fans into the game. We are sorely lacking that. Lifeless zombies like Trouba knowing they are getting traded. I hope at least on Friday they can play for each other against another hated rival. Its disheartening to watch them play.
Waiving Trouba is the nuclear option but if they cant trade him it needs to be done. The issue is the team gets even softer if he goes. Drury cant afford to punt on the season.
If F-bombs make you a leader I’m like Alexander the Great and Genghis Khan rolled up into one.Now is his chance. Not for nothing but if he is playing hurt, thats more leadership than Trouba has shown through this stretch. And it was at least nice to hear one of the players drop an f bomb after Monday night.
People don’t seem to understand roster building in the roster building thread.Trouba isn't going anywhere until the off season -- unless we get a trade offer we can't refuse. I honestly do not see them waiving him during the season.
