new york itself is an issue. life is comfy here - so many distractions and luxuries.
most guys here just don't want to work that hard. the cost of living is expensive, taxes etc so i guys want top dollar salary. frankly i'm not sure that part will ever change.
can we get a top 4 euro defenseman? these americans and canadians can't get it done.
Life is comfy in NY? News to me. I’ve lived here my whole life and it gets harder every year. The problem with this team of entitled interlopers is that they are so removed from reality they think they are the victims. I wish they gave a f*** nearly as much the hardworking people who root for them and giving their weekly salary just to have the ”privilege” of getting to watch them mope around the ice. This team will never achieve anything until they work as hard at their day jobs as the people who root for them.
It’s kind of his fault, his first offseason was a disgrace, and he believed in this sack of shit team enough to waste tons of picks on them for rentals who didn’t solve any of their fundamental issues as a team. I wouldn’t bat an eye if he got fired and we went in a different direction honestly.
Mark Messier president and GM. I wouldn’t do it but that’s the next stop on this train,
