If it’s true Pinto and OTT not even discussing contract and he wants to be traded, Drury needs to be all over this like a fly on shit.
Young local talented kid. Solid center with good runway to become better….
No clue what the ask would be, but this is a move for now and the future.

Still a pick for me on a fourth line depending upon cost. Good defensive forward who can PK and chip in some offense and can play on the third line if injuries become an issue. I have a feeling someone will overpay a bit for him, though.

Drury really looked at this core and decided, "yeah, we can't win with them". Its not what I expected, but its what a lot of people wanted. Clearly he has no desire to pay these insane prices for guys who were no locks to put us over the top. he's prioritizing a world where he has to pay Lafreniere, Igor and K'Andre. Time to adjust our expectations for next year, imo.

Would LOVE Trouba for Lundell. Like, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

while I join all in waiting for the expected formality of Trouba + hopefully also Lindgren moves, I am pleased that Rs did not add less than top quality or more senior vets so far, keeping the roster and the payroll lean = increased flexibility going forward

I’m still highly interested in Pinto. Getting him would be a home-run…..
Zergas too for that matter. But pinto is my top trade target atm.
